All of the songs will get evaluated, although I doubt quality is really a question for this album. Between this album, MR, DKC 3, and FFIX, you all will be flooded with excellent songs to listen to .

Exactly, I particularly loved the Sonic and NiGHTS albums quite a lot. I've been behind and haven't heard the others for the better part of the year, but I will do so soon & probably enjoy the others a lot too.

While it's true it'd be bad of me to say something like this album kicks the living shit out of all the oters on OCR, I truly don't feel it's proper to compare when each album has different goals.

I don't feel like I can really quantify what is "better". I enjoy a lot of releases, especially some of the more recent ones.

You all have no idea...it's certainly up there, but I'll let others debate what the best album is. I'll just say that all on board absolutely loved being a part of it and think it's really well done.

It seems to be a two man posting show between Gario and I. I hope to concoct a preview sometime after I finish up my infantry training, or if Gario wants he can even sooner. I feel like the best of the album has yet to be shown to us project directors, as we're trying to get spectacular takes on certain tracks. About half of the album currently has a large amount of progress with solid foundations down, if not complete.

It's always hard to say with release dates - as noted, many factors go into a release of an album. I'm glad that the most tentative stuff is taken care of already, which is allowing me to refocus on Lufia 2 . But yeah, a fluid thread would be no good as some releases are meant to be kept secret until they're out by director intention. The best I can give is an informal estimate based on my knowledge. I do want to see this out asap though, the wait has been too long!

Well, we got several albums coming out before MR, so you'll have a bit of a wait before this releases. Fear not though, the album is still 100% done and ready! I'd expect MR early next year.

So we're well & alive! We are starting to see some activity spring once again and some solid WIPs and tracks are coming in. I wish I were in the position to tease everyone with a preview but I'm currently restricted to the occasional cellphone internet access weekly while undergoing infantry training. Just know that things are in good hands and that the album is going to shape well!

I have felt for quite a while that Chrono Cross's music is a lot more memorable overall, not to mention more emotional. I would love to hear the music revisited for sure!

Didn't Joshua Morse do a game soundtrack too?

I'm really looking forward to hearing all of the stuff I miss come the end of October! I hope to see a good deal of progress, there's.some very good tracks on the horizon.

You know, reading the first few pages of the thread now, this album has come a long way! It's on the cusp of completion after almost 2 years of effort and the right mental approach to leading. I can't wait as a listener to hear what great goodies everyone has in store for us in this album, it should be pretty kickass !

zircon is the name of a metal band too if I remember right.
