Haha that brass sticks out like a sore thumb! Otherwise, really love the western vibe going on in this song - Dr. Manhattan really shows off his versatility musically with the electric guitar. Unfortunately I never played the game, so I missed out like Stevo . That Mexican Hat Dance part caught me off guard - didn't really read the writeup that much this time, so that quick bit provided some mild amusement.

Whoa, where did this come from? I remember hearing the original before, and man, this sounds quite different yet still awesome in its own right. Production seems kinda rough, but otherwise love what has been done - keep working at it!

This really has a rock vibe to it with a synth lead instead of guitars. Not sure if I'm terribly fond of this to be honest - I know I've heard Willrock do much better in the Grand Master Robot Remix Battle compo earlier in the year. The song seems too short for me, and relatively stale.

Really like the approach here, but if there's one thing I have a complaint about, it's that it feels too short. I would like to hear a longer version, although I don't know if that'll happen given all the project tracks and stuff Stevo has on his plate

Pokemon HeartGold & Super Mario Galaxy 2 here. I need to finish up my second playthrough of Lost Odyssey sometime, up to the last boss. I've just been frustrated by the attempt to get the open-every-treasure-box-and-find-every-secret achievement.

It sounds like EA doesn't want to invest in their network to assume that most copies are being used for online, even those that were traded in used and sold to another user. That's their prerogative, but seems kinda shady. What this will do though is force Gamestop to lower their used game prices for EA's games with online though - the end user probably won't see a difference in net price, just that Gamestop's extra $10 or whatever in profit will go to EA instead.

There's plenty that are worse - perfect example is 7th Saga, where you literally win by luck.

This thread sure has taken quite a turn from just being about EA's Online Pass system.

I'm on the flip side of the equation - I enjoyed FFXIII far more than a lot of the other ones. Yes, they made it more linear, but they also tightened up the presentation so that too much openness doesn't kill the effect as have done in the past. It's not one that everyone has to agree with, but I see it as a clear step above games like FFXII personally.

Yeah, I saw this earlier - you can even play Pacman on that Google logo! Happy 30th to Namco's Pacman!
