I just realized that the writing comps thread is gone. OH NOES! Seriously though, I'm with G_D, theres a lot going on with the forums right now, so I'll let the mods sort this out and not engage in needless mod hate. EDIT: Wait, I don't actually think its completely gone... just the last half of it. When you click on the banner in my sig nothing comes up, but the link from G_D's sig has a thread with only 3 pages in it... last time I checked the thread had 7 pages. Hmm.

Everything I was going to say, just stated much better than I could have said it. You know whats up.

I clicked on this thread 'cause I'm probably going to the University of Chicago next year, and wanted to know what teh h0tness is around town. Only now did I realize I would be in the same city as the wingless. Now that is a frightening proposition.

Not trying to be a dick, I'm just not sure if this was addressed or passed over. There was one comment about using the multi-quote feature, which seems to be quite a hassle. It doesn't seem like something there would be a quick fix to, so I might just have to get use to this, but if it could be implemented a lot of people I think would appreciate it. Thanks.

For the writing part, would it be poetry, prose, or just whatever? I have written pretty much, though only now have I started putting it up for other people to view. This sounds like a pretty awesome project though, and I would like to contribute. Yeah, I think some people brought this up also, but I don't know how to quote an entire persons post, i.e. post a quote of a quote. So if I am responding to someones argument in a PPR thread, and they quoted someone else in their post, I have to paraphrase what the first person said to make my post make sense. There might be a way to do this, though I'm not sure right now how to. If anyone could help that'd be great.

There is a ribbon accessory, but you can't get it until the very end of the game. Honestly, I didn't find that boss too challenging, and I was around the same level... Try having an archer in your party so that there is one less character who will be effected by his area attack. Control a healer, and have basch or someone with a melee weapon keep the boss busy. EDIT: how the hell do you do an automatic quote within a quote? it will take me a while to get used to vb bullentin. anyways, dhsu asked if there was a ribbon accessory to deal with this one boss, and this was my response.

Well, all of the N64 and GC games had full soundtracks, so I would me suprised if this one didn't have one.

That took me a while too. It was on page 8. I actually like the default style better than the ocr one. Anyways, I'm not going to pass any judgments until I use this for a week or two.

I personally like the hunts a lot more than blitzball, which really got boring after you've leveled up enough to win every game 10-0. I actually like FFXII's story for a while, until I came to the same conclusion that you guys have come to, that being that, after spending about 15 hours doing hunts and stuff and not being involved with the plot, now I really don't care about it and am having a hard time getting back into the story. It really is a big step down compared to ten or one of the playstation games...

It isn't all that difficult. If you're too lazy to do that then get out. As I said, WIPs could be posted. That would add stuff to the thread people are willing to post them, and some do. How exactly is it more difficult to send a pm than post in a thread? Plus, if you post in the thread then other people are influenced by your vote, and it wouldn't be as fair.

Guitar Hero II, with an extra wireless controller. That game rocks... literally.

This is a great idea, that would make sense.So don't expect this to be applied anytime soon. We delete spambot stuff well enough. We don't need to add people as mods just to cover different time zones. It's more important that someone's qualified for the position rather than living in a certain area of the world just to delete a spambot post within a few minutes as opposed to several hours. The only logical addition would be TO as far as I can tell - I'm not saying it's necessary, just that an Australian would be the only logical choice after Smoke, and TO would be the first aussie on the list since he's between 10 and 12 hours back of New York. Wacky anyone? He would be a great mod for PPR... if you still need mods or anything.

I went to a costume party as santa recently. I had a pillow under the outfit to make myself look fat... though I must say, I was a good looking santa. All the lady pirates at the party sat on my lap. They said they wanted presents for X-mas, but I knew what was up EDIT: Actually, I made that last part up.

I'd agree. After the mix got underway I loved the "underwater" part as djp called it. Definately chill once it gets going, the beginning didn't do much for me, not that that detracts from the mix all that much. Keep the FFA love coming bgc.

I <3 these two games. Too bad I have no artistic skill at all. This comp is really getting awesome lately though, I mean, FFVI last month, and now ICO/SotC. I'm not even sure how much better it can get.

Wow, you guys are a lot farther than I am... level 32 lol. But then, I've been busy with homework and shtuff. I have the lp * 2 accessory on all my chars, so like what level will I be at when I get everything on the license board? I am just wondering if I should do the exp * 2 accessory instead...

I really liked the flute in this (that is a flute in the background, right?) It would be nice if this came to the fore a little bit. Anyways, FFXII needs some remixin' love, and this is a good first shot.
