One (hopefully) good thing about the iPhone is that it will signify the end of all things stylus, including the DS. Q-pa let me play his, but he told me I had to use the stylus on the touchscreen because... I don't quite remember why. But there was a reason, I'm almost sure of it.

I had already created my Pezman name on ff.net by that time, but this encouraged me to keep it and use it uniformly, which I did. Oh, and Liontamer... were you an accountant in a previous life?

I know that they've always made the distinction of saying that the emulator is legal while the games played on it are not. But seriously, what could we legally use a MAME emulator for besides oh-so-entertaining homebrews?

I came up with my Internet alias all on my own about eight or nine years ago when I made a fanfiction.net account, and I've used it as my Internet username on all forums and login sites I've frequented ever since. It's an expansion of a nickname I got from my last name (Pesner). My dad had it when he was a kid before me. That is completely possible without you being unable to equip an awesome weapon or armor that happened to find lying around but wait... you spent your license points on abilities instead of equipment. Now you're out of luck. No other RPG has made us choose between equipment or skills.

Licenses. WTF? No point at all... just let the chars learn magic as they level like a normal video game. It makes equipment shopping a huge rectal pain and you end up choosing your pics based on where you happened to have spent your license points.

You forgot to mention how I saved the day when our car was pulled over by the cops because florescent lights are illegal in Virginia (but we actually think it's because they needed to reach their monthly quota). When q-pa told them we were coming from a video game concert they got riled up... apparently they didn't like video games. "That's it," they said. "We're taking you downtown." At this point I, in all my badassery, took a page from Taucer and barrel-rolled out of the car. I walked straight up to the cops and said "Listen up, guys. You'd better not mess, or else I'll karate chop both your asses so hard you're not gonna be able to sit in your car for three minutes without passing out from the pain." I use bitdefender. I used to use Zonealarm but then I upgraded to Vista (say what you want... it works well for me) and Zonealarm hasn't, so I used that now.

I hate to be rude (no, srsly) but none of the questions I'm asking are getting answered, i.e. can someone give me a ride from place to place (I'll help out w/ minor cash expenses), what's DJP's address, how long will we be staying there, are we even GOING there? It's 3 days away now and I need to know. Bahamut, if you end up on that train, you should be able to easily find me, since I WILL be wearing the OCR shirt. Plus, if we travel together it will make things a tad easier.

Nononononono. Allow me to clarify. I will be entering and exiting DC via Amtrak. However, this limits my local transportation options: a taxi, or a friend with a car... or an acquaintance with a car... or someone I've met two seconds ago with a car. My concerns lie in: a) getting from the train station to the Washington Monument getting from VGLive to DJP's (I assume that's where we're going after the concert). What's his address anyways? c) getting from DJP's to my friend's, where I'll be staying the night. I don't know how far he lives from DJP, but he's five or ten minutes out of DC d) getting from my friend's to Burke Lake Park (he may be able to help me out on this one) e) getting from Burke Lake Park back to the station I don't know what time we'll be leaving DJP's for our respective sleeping places (though I have been asking), but I'm trying to ascertain whether I can get a ride to my friend's even if it's 1, 2, 2:30 in the morning. EDIT: Oh yeah, for those of you taking Amtrak from NYC the day of, I'm on the one that gets into DC at 10:25 am (it leaves from Newark at 7:22 am). Anyone else taking that one?
