Anyways deadmau5 remix is top notch, amazing stuff, if you don't win any of these compos then I don't know what peoples deal are xD. P.S. Get that video constructed I need to see your techniques performed lol.

I don't know if it's too late, but I would like to switch my first and second choices. I've been thinkin about it the whole time and I think I like armored armadillos theme better. But this is only if it's not too late to change my choices @_@.

Ok since OCR is so awesome about everything, I figured I would bug you guys with another question. Messin around with ewql has got me thinkin about stereo space. Are there guidelines with this type of stuff? I know things like bass and vocals are usually dead center, but what about other elements? How wide/narrow should certain elements be? Should lead instruments be centered as well? What about putting things in the left or right side of the soundscape? If one thing is on the right, what could I put to balance it with the left? If you guys can point me in the right direction I would so greatly appreciate it.

Dude where the hell you've been at haha? Anyways this track is sweet hell, but yeah the strings maan. I know you want to stress that you did you want wanted to do to them but try to think objectively about it as well especially if you want others to enjoy your music. But anyways I think if you added a chorus to it or somethin, to give the strings more vibrato that's one suggestion, I won't say anything about timing and dynamics as I'm learnin that stuff myself but as I hear it now, there's really no movement in the strings. The chorus one of many effects that would help with the movement of the instruments without doing much to the the samples themselves. It has almost a similar sound to that chrono trigger remix of yours which was also sweet it's a shame you didn't resub that one. Look forward to hearin more from you Doni.

Revivin this because I think more people should listen to this stellar album! This album hits really close to home since this is the type of music I grew up with, only with a new spin on it. I will be listenin to this forever now that I've bought it and I just want to say thank you for this awesome music Malcos! =D

This shit IS sweet! I will download and hopefully be able to donate a few bucks or so. I have no gripes, you guys went for a sound, a style and you executed it perfectly so what's there to complain about? Awesome stuff guys, hopefully I can get on you guys level of dope someday =).

Haha yeah sure thing man and thank you. Gettin the kick and the actual bass instrument was ultra hard to mix in there equally and ultimately I failed but you live and learn and the next track won't have that issue =D.

Haha this is a fun cute track, I remember hearin it when the album came out and was like, "Lolz nice OA." Somethin's buggin me, my ears feel like somethin is missin it could be the mid stuff Shariq was talkin about. Either, way this is sweet cool synth/guitar solos, nice nice =D.

Yeah, that's how I was gonna go about that, but what about using effect processors outside of the plugin? Will I just have to make due with what's given within kompakt or is there a way to route the 8 different instruments to seperate mixer tracks in FL?

I'm sure I could figure it out, thanks Brian! The only problem would be, if I were to add the 8 instruments to one instance, routing the different patches to their own mixer track just through that one instance of Kompakt alone. I hope someone could shed some light on this issue.

It is highly recommended that you start with synth1. Here, zircon even put together a starting point tutorial on synthesis clicky I started to get a basic understand of synthesis through the subtractor synth on Reason but if you're usin vsts, synth1 is definitely the way to go. And from there you just keep tweaking and tweaking, figurin out what each of the knobs and buttons do. There's no quick fix to automatically learning about synthesis, you just have to practice, so that way you can just recreate the sounds you need instead of tryin to painstakingly look for patches or soundfonts over the web. A lot of those sounds from the Metroid Prime game you could recreate yourself if you have the patience and dedication to learning synthesis.

I didn't realize that there was an option to change the routing of the instruments. I guess it goes to the next output everytime I add one and I just change them all to one like the first instance. But, I'll probably end up just creating a bunch of instances of kompakt since you said that's fine. Thanks for the help Moseph.

Ah cool a response! Yes you've answered my questions, I'm a bit confused about the top part though. Right now I'm using the EWQL vst, which they call "Kompakt Instrument" and I see 8 slots to put the instruments in. When I go to select somethin for the second slot there's no sound I've tried it with Kontakt before and it does the same thing. What I've been doin if I'm just usin a few sounds from the library, I just create several instance of the vst and run each instrument through it's own vst. How do I go about grouping all the stuff together in a much simpler fashion. Is there anywhere on the web where I can read about it?

I'm bout to start on Chipp's Orchestra/hip hop track. I'm usin EWQLSO gold. Are there any tips as how I should approach the symphonic side? I use FL by the way, how should I group instruments, what plugin should I use(between EW's own plugin, or should I use Kontakt?) What type of processing should my instruments go through since it's gonna be a combination of of hip hop elements and orchestra instrumentation. Thoughts would be greatly appreciate xD.

Ok so by request of my friends, I decided to make my own dubstep track. While this was fun to make, the production for this started to irk my nerves gettin things balanced out and sounding clear was a pain in the ass. If any of you guys have any tips or things you want to say about it please let me know!! But on the flip side, hope you guys enjoy this. THIS IS WOMP lol Edit:I forgot to mention that this is my first piece with original sounds. My favorite being the synth that's so prominent in the beginning of the track. But yeah all the bass instruments or any other synth you hear in there is mine xD.

I've posted on all of the places where I have musicians as friends that I talk to, although they might not show as they would probably think it's a waste of time or their skills are good enough already, thought I'd try anyways lol .
