Just thought I'd say that everything Darangen makes is FANTASTIC. I really like a certain non-OCR song he has that's on Dwelling of Duels. It's a remix of DKC2 called "Rest Tonight".

Any hero that beats Zircon goes on the banlist!

Pretty much both. The true star of the show is the extremely skilled flash animation involved. That and if you like Mario and Sonic then it's hard not to like.

I've known about the series way before this thread, and it is amazing.

Aw man, I remember hearing this on the WIP forum. This might be my all time favorite electronica remix. Powerful, in-your-face percussion, awesome synth leads, and total loudness, this is truly a virtuosic piece. Excellent work.

Yeah leonidus totally carried us the entire time.

Yeah that game was amazing. Left me exhausted though, and I was stuck defending base end-game.

Instrument mics - Shure sm57's Uh, that's all I can really think of off the top of my head; most of the other stuff should be personal preference like what DAW to use. FruityLoops and Reaper are both cheap DAW solutions and definitely give you more bang for your buck. There's the pricier Cubase and the extremely expensive ProTools, but ProTools would take a mac computer which would cost even MORE than ProTools. Still, it IS $25,000...

Ugh, if this project did come back to life I'd be obliged to join it since I love this soundtrack to the point of insanity, and the game itself is one of my all time favorite RPGs...I'm already doing a bunch of projects already, though. That and I don't have any good orchestral samples...maybe I could collab...I've been meaning to combine the Blue Pirates' Theme and Battle 2.

I had to leave my game because we were eating out for my dad's birthday...sorry.

We have a tutorial right here in OCR actually. It's how I learned how to use it.

Wait, they did another tour? Anyhoo I saw Dream Theater over the summer, but I had to drive 9 hours to see it. It was in Ashbury Park, NJ. Only other two concerts I've been to were Symphony X sometime last year, and Blind Guardian in...uh, the winter of 2006 I think. EDIT: I just realized this is an old thread and not a new one. Shame on me.
