SSBB, I can never get the hang of ZSS and Wolf, as much as I try. And oh, how I try. I finally got the hang of Ness, though (PK Fiah!). Anyone who isn't Raphael in Soul Calibur I also have trouble with - me and the rapier guy just clicked really well, and I can't pick up anyone else. For anyone who picked up any version of Jump Stars for the DS, though - how in hell do you play Dr. Mashirito?

I actually was playing my way through Live A Live when I created an account here, and since the Cowboy chapter was my favorite I decided on ol' Sunset here.

I normally do - Peach user, yo. But I like to use her dash attack more than I probably should, if this tripping thing happens often enough to screw with that. If it doesn't then w/e - a chance of failure comes with everything in Melee, so tripping just makes it slightly higher.

M2K is somewhat famous for his brag-a-thons. He has a website devoted to his video game achievements, and blah blah blah he's full of himself. I was kinda disappointed that Mew2King doesn't use M2 @ tourneys, though. ON TOPIC: So tripping is totally random? That sucks. I'll have to practice my aerial movement so I don't stay on the ground too much.

Meh, it's not that bad a game. Currently am a Level 3 Troll. Can't see myself playing both this AND Kingdom of Loathing, though. I'll see how it goes.

2, although I've been slowly moving up the scale towards 1. That recent-ish remix of Wizards n' Warriors (it had longjohns in the title) made me realize that even if I've never played them some games have good music. Well, the re-realization, anyways.

Heh, the demo was nice. Haven't done that sort of puzzle in ages. Once I pick up my DS again from storage I'll have to give this a try.

My bad. Peach's Down Smash. ...although her Down+A is pretty good as well.

Heh, one of my friends loves to use that move on us. Thankfully he doesn't really use any of Zelda's other moves so we've learned to adapt. But yeah, this looks alright - I wonder if the potency of a move goes down if you alternate between two moves ONLY, like I used to do with Peach's Down+A and aerial Back+A before I learned that she had other moves that worked Atma, you know?

Well, at least Kirby can actually fight then... ...although pretty much the only thing I did with Kirby in Melee was suicide the enemy. All it took was one misstep and BAM they're flying down with me and dying. Only in multiplayer or when I was one stock ahead did I do that, though.

I actually DID get slightly nauseous from all the movement - although it wasn't as bad as during the 3rd Bourne movie Can't wait for the rumored sequel, though. And did anyone else think that this was somewhat close to Starcraft: The Movie? As soon as I saw the smaller aliens I thought they looked somewhat like Zerglings... two minutes later I was convinced the large momma was an Ultralisk of some sort.

My handle started out as Jarna, which was my first ever D&D character name. After that character died (rather quickly, I might add) I kept using Jarna for those "Enter Your Name" fields in video games. After a while, I realized that Jarna just didn't have a ring to it when shooting people up and/or destroying their Nexii online, so I added the "Mr". Sounded suave to me, in my 12-year-old mind. The name has since stuck. Unsurprisingly, people often leave off the Mr...and rarely, they'll leave out the Jarna. Strange. TRIVIA: Now I use Tayl for video game input screens. Comes from all the GB games with 4-letter-only naming fields.

So long as Nintendo continues to make handhelds, the platforming genre shall NEVER be allowed to die. Heck, there's always some new quirk to be added - Canvas Curse and Yoshi's Island DS are the ones that come immediately to my mind... Also Flash games, as someone mentioned earlier. Oh, and "I Wanna Be The Guy".

Superfriends... not so much. Also, slightly off-topic but the Seanbaby Superfriends page is hilarious and deserves reading. Especially the Riddler page. Oooh, Mighty Max! Anyone else watch that show? The Genesis video game they made about it also wasn't all that bad... if you played it 2-player.

I remember that show! So good. Although I preferred to watch the old-school Spider-Man and assorted other superhero cartoons. Batman FTW.

And go to GameFAQs? I appreciate atma's posts, if only because they do help me keep from sending all my money to Sakurai the Perfect, but gimme pretentious people over GameFAQs any day. To stay on topic, though - Olimar's recovery is a BEAST, indeed. However, if the opponents can kill your Pikmin directly, doesn't it become less useful? I wonder if the Pikmin can be killed directly? Also this topic deserves a FALCON PAUNCH. Because it's so huge mirite.

WHY CAN'T WE ALl JUST LOVE EACH OTHER Back on topic, now that Olimar is confirmed I don't really know what to think. I mean, I assume the Pikmin series was awesome otherwise I wouldn't be hearing all this praise about it, but it just never struck me that he would seriously be considered as a character. I know, I know. Pit/G&W/IC/whatever are probably more WTF than Olimar - at least Olimar had two fairly recent games under his belt (I refuse to count remakes of Pit/G&W/IC's games) - but Olimar never seemed to me as "big enough" for a game of his own, even if he was an interesting character. So, basically my ideas of who is gonna be in Brawl are all thrown out of whack (and they were fairly decent before - I anticipated Sonic and Dedede; collected $20 off of a bet about Sonic). Anyone else feeling this, or am I spitting in the wind? Also, this picture of a guy in the upper left hand corner of the page? Says he's mascot49 in the address? Has wierd bat-like wings? I think he'd be awesome in Brawl. Just sayin'.

I must admit, I'd actually enjoy seeing Tingle on the battlefield just so I could beat the crap out of him. And hey - free character! ...wouldn't it be awesome if Tingle got to be considered "top tier"? The pros who used him would never live down the shame, even if they won. But Olimar actually risks himself on the battlefield...cowardly Pokemon Trainer can't even step ONTO the battlefield. That said, I wonder if a Pikmin can defeat a Pokemon? The battle of the names that sound alike. And I don't know how it is for anyone else, but I seem to play BETTER as the IC when I'm alone. I think it's because I'm not as worried about dying, since I'll only come back stronger like Obi-Wan except without the hermit solitude. And ghostly visage.
