  1. http://www.songbirdocarina.com/zelda-ocarinas?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=34&category_id=13 This is a replica of the Ocarina of Time and has a 21-note range. It has a video under so you can listen to what it sounds like. It's 100$, but hey, it looks like the Ocarina of Time and it sounds neat.
  2. This is amazing. I love every bit of it, especially your instrument choices. Nothing gets repetitive or boring at all! Just a tip, for the main melody, you might wanna make the lead a little bit louder. As far as the arrangement goes, you might wanna make the ending a little more... interesting. Like a fadeout or final climax or something.
  3. I cried when Square Enix made me play through Zack's death. It's so sad he just holds onto Aeris's memory in the slot machine power up thingy (DMW or something) and then he forgets her and dies.
  4. Then he'd have no reason to buy a Blu-Ray DVD Player. "Ever think about that?"
  5. Just make sure you don't say it's an OC Remix. If judges rejected it, it's not an OC Remix. It's just a remix that's been rejected by OC Remix. EDIT: All my sentences end in OC Remix. D'oh, I ended a sentence once more with OC Remix...
  6. You should've gotten a PS3; You can play games, the online is free and you can do 1080p. But The Dark Knight on Blu-Ray has fantastic quality, and so does Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete Edition (It has like 20 more minutes of movie content, as well and the visual effects in some scenes were changed, like the entire Seph vs. Cloud fight their swords glow blue)
  7. Poetry's not my thing... xD I won't be entering for this competition, maybe I will for freeform and definitely short story but definitely NOT for poetry.
  8. Are you sure it's an OCRemix? It's not on the site, and if it was previously it would've been noted in the changelog and it's not there either.
  9. Wow, this movie's amazing! I love the concept of future arcades.
  10. Just saying, it's technically not an FPS (it's an FPA = First Person Adventure) Anyways, I was doing a prime remix but sadly it's a lost cause and it wasn't of any of the tracks you wanted. Sorry, maybe in the future I'll do something about the lack of the remixes here.
  11. I agree as well. :/ It's not Nintendo's fault that people aren't good with the co-op. It's more of the fault of the players.
  12. It's not really working together that's fun, it's more fun to use the other person to your advantage (if you both agree not to kill each other for being selfish). Throw the guy at an enemy, get some laughs, and the same thing happens to you. If you don't take things too seriously, you'll even laugh when you die. And it's not like working together sucks. When Shariq and I (try to) work together in New Super Mario Bros. Wii, it has its benefits and you get some laughs out of it too. If you really hate getting in each other's way, you should try communicating more (that's really why I always die or accidentally kill Shariq when I play, I never tell him what I'm gonna do and it's bad for both of us.)
  13. What happens if your internet is down? You can't do anything on your computer. I don't think it's good for a "primary" OS on your computer, maybe if you kept it on a partition but I def. wouldn't trade away Windows 7 for this. It just seems a bit limited when compared to Windows.
  14. It's pretty cool. I like the beat. But like you said in the vid description; all you did was change the instruments. Try developing your own parts, rather than just changing the instruments of the original and shifting parts in and out. It gets repetitive. If you DO want it to sound a lot like a remake, that's perfectly fine; in that case, you did a great job. (But it could be much better, in my opinion, if you created your own parts like I said above)
  15. Or how to be frustrated when a servant tells you the girl you are looking for is in another castle or how to properly dress for various situations (raccoon for air frog for water etc.)?
  16. I echo L99. That "Good Luck" in the beginning is kinda cheesy. If you want to keep it go ahead, but I feel like the mix can do without it. Also, it's repetitive on some parts. So if you cut some stuff out and lower the bitrate, this can stay within the limit of submission size (8 MB, because yours is 15 MB and way too big right to sub to OCR) Also on that very first synth is kinda loud, you should EQ the high frequency on that.
  17. The constant bouncing on each other is annoying, but I can't help but laughing when I die.
  18. It wouldn't sound like the others anyway, because it doesn't have to be dominant. If it wasn't dominant, that's already a step away from the other remixes. It could just have a small section somewhere, but not during the ice cap melody.
  19. Wow that's pretty good and chill! It totally blows my Ice Cap Remix away. However, I don't think the famous Ice Cap chord progression makes an entrance here anywhere... it's just the ACTUAL chord progression. What I mean is that, in the original, there's the intro chord progression, and then a different one plays when the melody enters. Here's just the different one. It's not a problem, it would be nice to hear that well-known chord progression though. Great work.
  20. Hence the "clean" in "clean install". :/
