A more laid-back and simplistic piece this time. I'm really trying to work on this whole orchestral thing.

Alright, I'm salvaging this. I kinda dropped the ball on it, but so did a few other people. If your name's still up on that tracklist, I'll be in touch shortly. Next check-in is May 31st. Your mix should be very, very close to finished by then, so we can get this thing wrapped up this year and move on to Part 2.

The idea was to remix the track in a style reminiscent of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, and even includes a couple of direct nods to "Rules of Nature".

He's probably getting the 9 years on a plea deal or something. Like I said, they wouldn't have grabbed him if they weren't sure they had him.

This new studio has guys that have worked on some pretty good games. Hopefully this game turns out nice.

I've been so hype about this for months. I can see where they're coming from as far as destructible environments affecting gameplay, but they should at least make aesthetic elements destructible.

At this point, pretty much as much time as you'd need. I don't expect the album to be finished for at least another nine months.

To everyone that got back to me: Feedback will be coming either tonight (2/11) or tomorrow. For everyone that hasn't: Extension to March 1st. After that, if I do not hear from you, your claim will be dropped. Zone Runners are an exception to this rule because they are finished.

My track definitely isn't as polished as I would like, but I'm still glad I was able to submit something. It's my second full-orchestra track ever, my first orchestral remix ever, and the first time I've ever made a remix without live recording anything.

Sickness put me down, but definitely not out. You guys are in for a surprise. Submitting now.

What amp sim are you using? If you're using a POD, you can run Gearbox or POD Farm outside of FL Studio (like I do) and route the sends to a mixer track in FL Studio. Send 3/4 is the dry signal. That way, you can hear the amp sim in monitoring as you track, but what's being recorded is dry guitar.

I fell out of it pretty quickly. The difference in time commitment between people that pay for stuff and people that don't really turned me off from it. If they changed that and made things a bit easier for people that don't want to constantly turn out their pockets, I'd probably come back.
