  1. Very weird title for a game, never played it either. Samples are a little rough and a little dated, but it doesn't really take away from the track a lot. The piano and the trombone are the true stars of this piece, and really give the feeling of a party happenin' on the streets of New Orleans. It's Mazedude, and it's fun.
  2. I love how atmospheric this piece is. Mazedude seems to have this knack for creating things that are creepy and borderline freaky. The mix of echoes, industrial beat and synth lead really ties this mix together. Great job, mate.
  3. This mix is... strangely upbeat for some reason and I don't know why... (Gasps) Was this Purple Tentacle's master plan all along!? But really, I can't help but find this mix a little on the comedic side. I could just imagine Purple Tentacle pounding out this tune on the piano and getting the keys all wrong. Even though the piano was a little on the mechanical side, I still found this mix enjoyable. Nice work.
  4. I have to echo OA here in saying I don't like the distorted guitar either, however, it's not so bad that it ruins the entire song, other than that, the rest of the mix is awesome. It's very stylized and chilled, but the bass and drums save form going into what I'd consider 'true' lounge territory. A definite must grab from Mazedude.
  5. Ohhh, funkeh... The opening groove really got me groovin', and the rest of it kept the funk going. This mix is pretty polished for a old one, but I ain't complaining. Nice work.
  6. Damn this is short! The abrupt ending miffed me off a little bit, but other that that, I got no complaints. The samples are mean and agressive, the beat is punchy, and there's even sexy noodle-age towards the end, and all up this is a solid arrangement. Despite how short this is, it's still good, like a nugget of bite-size awesomeness. A short'n'sweet track from Mazedude.
  7. This is a happy song, and in no way can I deny that this is cute. Not a lot that I can really say about this one, this just makes me feel really, really happy and start grinning like a goofball. The slowdown section in the middle was very adorable too. A definate download and a great track
  8. It's good to see one of my favourite FFX tracks get some some love. It's still got the same chilled, relaxing, and beachy vibe to it, but taken in a much chipper, happier direction. Props as well for putting in the Kirby Warp Star, you cheeky bugger
  9. When I say the title, I was expecting a different kind of funk. It's still funky, just taken in the typical direction that Mazedude takes it. That bass is funky right from the start, and fits in rather well with the dark, Egyptian theme that's going on here. The tempo change towards the middle caught me by surprise, but it seamlessly went from one transition to another. Another impressive track from the 'Dude.
  10. Solid mix. The drums really give the feel of that good ol' American pride (I'm Australian, so I wouldn't know ). The symphonic and electronic combination hits perfectly in sync here. The whole feel of the song is something I'd probably expect from a film score, albeit mixed with electronic, or a Metroid Track, but that's just me. A definite must download.
  11. Hahaha, awesome. This mix is so upbeat and fun, it's impossible for me to not crack a smile and do the djp. I could go on and say that the some of the samples are a little rough, but they're so well put together, that I can't complain at all. Get it, and you won't regret it at all.
  12. I know I remember seeing or playing this game, but I can't remember for the life of me I'm afraid... My memory problems aside, this is a very atmospheric mix, and the pitch-bended synths really stand out in the piece. The whole environment that was created was very lush and chilled. Despite the fact that this is short, this is still great and distinctly Mazedude.
  13. I love this, my favorite Mazedude track to date. When the first bell tolls, you can just tell this is going to be menacing right off the bat, and this piece delivers in spades. Heavy beats, absolutely demonic synths and the screams pull together this hell-raising piece . A killer track by Mazedude. Just don't listen to this before you go to bed. If you do, just imagine Kratos swooping in and viciously killing everything.
  14. I like how this piece keeps the feel of the original, yet it off to that place that only Mazedude does. The drum track is the star of this and works well alongside the quirky, catchy electronic elements. Another solid track from Mazedude.
  15. This is a pretty cool track. You think from the name its going to be a chilled track, but the distortion in this takes in creepier, more suspenseful direction. Overall, another great track from Mazedude
  16. Love it, got it. It's great. It's dark and wicked and all of that great stuff. Just a great track by the great dude.
  17. It's a shame I've never played Earthbound at all, but enough about my problems. This is classic Mazedude at his craziest and zaniest. Download this, now.
  18. I think it's fair to say that Mr. Getman has this whole industrial thing down, and it his mastery shows in this dark and haunting track. A little on the repetitive side, but still a great track overall.
  19. Oh yeah, this is oldskool all right. And it really does remind of an 80's B Horror movie (I don't know why, it just does), mixed in with the usual Mazedude flavouring. Didn't like the fakeout ending though, nearly stopped listening till I heard the beat come back, but that's my only beef with this great mix.
  20. Clever use of vocals at the start. The choir and the harpsichord kick some ass together with the beats. Would've like the kick to be a little stronger, but it doesn't take away from this track. Good work Mazedude.
  21. This isn't really that scary, but it's an awesome track. The bells and the piano at the start gave the feeling that something good was about to drop, and it did. It it came it all at once, I suppose it would've been added to the shock factor, but then we wouldn't have such an awesome build-up. A solid track, and definitely worth the download.
  22. This is dark, guitar is dark, bass is dark (And unbelievably awesome), it's just dark. For a moment, I thought my computer crapped itself when it started stuttering, very cool effect. Another awesome track by Mazedude.
  23. Very Rennisance-y indeed. It's by Mazedude, so what else can I say?
  24. This has some awesome melody, with all the sounds and quirkyness about this mix, it's definitely a winner. Just make sure you don't turn up the volume to loud, or else you'll get a headache, no matter how awesome the song is...
