  1. Another golden oldie from Goat. The intro for this was surprisingly mellow and I thought this was going to be a rather stripped-back track... BEFORE MY MIND WAS RIPPED TO SHREDS BY EPIC SHREDDING!! *Cough* Ahem... Back to what I was saying before, once the shredding came in, it kicked the whole track up another gear. The mixture of both the intro/outro and the beefy middle made this a very memorable track for me and one of my ultimate favorites.
  2. The track is great, Goat rocks, he fucking rocks. The mix has some dark'n'heavy chugs which suits the foreboding style of this greatly. The solo in this was a little off, but I doesn't detract from the mix at all and a change in the drums now and then would've been great, but then again, that's just a pet peeve. Overall, a solid, meaty metal track by Goat. \m/
  3. Downloaded this long ago, still love it to this day. The gothic backgrounds stays to to CV series, while the guitar kicks seven different types of ass. Awesome stuff here by Ailsean and Kaijin.
  4. This isn't exactly Japanese to me, more like a freakish carnival cemetery entire inhabited by carnival and clown zombies...... *Shivers* And yet, it sounds completely awesome. It has this blend of weirdness and creepiness that works really well. The bubbling effect is used rather well. All in all, this is a another quirky mix by the Mazedude and the images now conjured up from the song now scare the crap out of me...
  5. This is meaty. It's so meaty, it's served with a side of chips and gravy I was pulled in from the start. The rhythm guitar in this is fantastic and from 0:30 onwards, it was really groovin' (but the again, i like that particular part because the lead and rhythm got a bit more dirty'n'gritty, and I like that). Solo from 3:22 onwards blew me away, the tone of it was high and soaring. Great playing and a groovin' rhythm, I love it. \m/
  6. Ah... Banjo-Kazooie, this song takes me back... *cough* Right, with that out of the way. I love this track to bits, definitely has that 'mad' feeling about. As I've never listened to Pendulum I can't compare this to them, but the combination of Sole Signal's production and Neko's shredding, this is a solid track that's more than able to stand on it's own. Great work from the both of you!
  7. This is some good stuff right here. That synth lead sounds awesome, the pitch bending you've done with it in particular is really top-notch. Nice work, Will.
  8. More power to ya BGC for having the double bassline, I had to listen a couple of time before I could clearly hear the both of them being played. The whole mix is as slick and smooth as ice in vodka. Really started to dig it when it went into HD part of the great. Great work BGC!
  9. A refreshing mix. Production is top-notch transition to guitar from orchestral is awesome.
  10. I went back and listened to this after a long time. It kicked ass then, and it kicks ass now.
  11. Mmm-mmm... shred-tastic The opening of this hits hard, and when the synth comes in, it's a punch to the gut... a mighty punch to the gut The orchestral stabs at the end were a bit weak, but it doesn't kill the mix entirely. Regardless, it's good to see this on the site. Good work!
  12. For your information Hubbard, I own Magna Cartra 2 and-! ... ... Who the hell am I kidding? Yeah, it's pretty bad
  13. Very laid back and sexy. Drum work is nice'n varied, and the saxophone is just gorgeous. Really great work from Avaris and Prophet.
  14. RAD VIOLIN LICKS!! That violin is in every sense of the work epic! The whole is really upbeat and makes me want to get up and dance a merry little jig.
  15. I'll be honest and say I couldn't listen to this at first, but then I got over it and decided to give it a listen... And I'm glad I did. I wish I could go back in time and slap some sense into myself to listen to this track sooner. When the moaning came in, I actually laughed and said "Hey, this isn't actually all that bad!" What else can I say? It's hot, it's sexy, it's funny, and it's by AnSo and Avaris. ... That being said, I still feel slightly ashamed listening to this. ... Congrats then, you crazy Sweede
  16. I like this mix - it's very atmospheric and lush, it really does give the feeling of being in space.
  17. A little on the short side for me, but still like it all the same. Would've loved to seen a g'tar solo rip out of nowhere and a little more variation with the strings, but this piece still holds in own. I'll echo DA as well in saying while this track wasn't your strongest, it's still a great listen. Props as well for going the Symphonic Rock route OA.
  18. Haven't cried at a video game yet, but I was definitely moved at some points in a few of them. Aerith's death is an obvious one as well as a couple of others, the most recent would be Modern Warfare 2 when Shepard burns Ghost and Roach after making his true intentions known. It wasn't even the fact he just burnt them, it was the fact that Roach was still alive that got to me... ... That reminds me, I still need to finish that...
  19. I'll be honest and say that I originally gave this a pass at first, but now that I listened to it, I have to say its one of the best songs I've listened to for a long time. The song really drew me in at the start with the hard pulsating beat, piano was nice'n'light and when combined with the drums and glitches had a dark edge to it. Heartbeat at the end? Creepy, and effective. I like it
  20. I've never play Aquaria unfortunately, but now I think I have to play it after hearing this. I thought the bass was a little loud at first, but then I really started to dig it. The franticness of the lead really gives of the feeling of a boss fight. All in all, it's just a badass track from a badass remixer.
