  1. This is happy song, I can't deny it, it makes a smile like a goofball It's short, but it's still awesome and catchy as hell.
  2. Don't know the game or source, but I don't care, I'm diggin' the old school vibe I'm getting from this.
  3. This mix is definitely off-kilter, and a little nuts to boot. And yet, it strangely works in the Mazedude fashion. Like OA said, it's almost like Mazedude went out of his way to make this sound crazy. Not the most likable melody, but definitely enjoyably enough to warrant a listen. Another quirky and insane mix from the 'dude.
  4. This is pretty conservative, considering Masedude does awesometastic things with music that makes my ear bleed out massive amounts of joy. But hey, a mix is a mix, and I like this mix. The instruments are really well done, and the thunder/rain effects are nice. All up, this is a pleasant track, nothing hugely mindblowing, but a pleasant track nonetheless.
  5. It's while since this site's seen a solo piano mix (At least, I think so), and this delivers in spades. The arrangement is, if not anything, bold, and the transitions between both the frantic and calmer moments and smooth and seamless. 2009 has been a good year for OCR, and this piece is like the icing on the cake.
  6. I've always loved FFVIII, and it's great to see that this song was given proper rawk justice.
  7. I'm not really familiar with the game or the source, but it ain't stopping me from lovin' this funky track! Have to agree with Antipode by saying this is one of the most punchiest mixes I've heard in quite a while. That slapped bass is godly, I can see why you say it was so fun to make Not much more to say, other than that this tracks oozes awesome from every orifice
  8. This makes me want to get up and do the Charleston There's a small place in my heart for big-band, and this just reminds me of why I love it. The live recording and voices in the background add a certain charm to the track, as well as the solos (that bari player is a monster). I hope we'll se more of these guys in the future, eh?
  9. I've always loved Tony's work and this is definitely one of my favorite tracks from him (the absolute favorite being Hell March to the Apocalypse) The wah guitar at the start always hooks me into the song, the slap bass is awesome, and GuitarBizarre's solo is smooth'n'delicous. Another great song from Tony, and a perfect way to celebrate then years of OCR! :nicework:
  10. 10 years. Seems to have just flown by. Happy birthday to OCReMix! And may the next ten be just as awesome!
  11. I concur. However, I must nominate Brushfire for Best new sexual position.
  12. Damn, I just remembered my most important one. Try to get enough money in 2010 to enter an Audio Engineering course in 2011 The whole course cost nearly 12 grand... Fuck, I hate the fact I'm a broke bastard...
  13. Just hit my 50th review. Now to try for a hundred... Tomorrow that is, i think all this reviewing is turning my brain to goo.
  14. For some reason, I'm just not really feeling the track. By no means am I saying this is bad. Far from it actually, that arrangement is great, the production is top-notch and the solo at the end was awesome. However, some of the strings (at the beginning) and synths sound a little forth and the mix pretty much stays at the same level until the solo. A few minor problems here and there, but it's still definitely worth a listen.
  15. One of my favourite tracks of all time from Sixto. Both the piano and guitar in this are used really well and bind the song together to make something awesome. Yes! Yes! A thousand times, YES!!
  16. Never played Super Hang-On or head the music, but I doesn't matter because I don't need to listen to the original to appreciate this track for what it is. Guitar on this is superb and clean. It's so clean you could pick your nose with it (Impossible, of course... or is it?) Another awesome track from Sixto! make sure you get this!
  17. Needs moar surf rocks plz This is a bitchin' track, no way around it. Another awesome co-lab between Zircon and Sixto.
  18. To actually try and learn guitar for real and not ass-fart around it. I've been plodding on and off for two years and gotten little to nowhere. So that's my goal for 2010. If I actually achieve that....... well, that's another story
  19. God....Damn this is epic beyond all words... What else is there to say? It's Danimal and Stemage, so awesomeness is already quality tested and assured.
  20. ... I'm sorry, but the title for this just cracks me up. This tracks feel rather prim and proper, or rather perfect accompaniment for a spot of tea and couple of scones. Jolly good show lad!
  21. Seems a little weird that you'd called such a bright and happy song 'Declaration of War', but that's just me, this track still kicks ass. Great work Scare and OA!
  22. Haha! That's awesome Txai! This song reminds me of an ending to a 90's feel-good movie. I don't why, it just does. Nonetheless, it's a great upbeat track that puts a big'ol smile on my face.
  23. MAN CHOIR!!!! *Ahem* Sorry about that... This song is easily my favorite track from the album. Not just from the sheer amount of ReMixers on the track alone, but the production of this is outstanding. The male choir really adds another level of depth and emotion and gives the feeling of well... Fighting for tomorrow Nutritious and OA (as well the Fabul's Men Choir) really went above and beyond and it paid off big time.
