There's bound to be a natural ebb & flow of support as people adjust their priorities, but the support so far has been great! It's been awesome to roll out SoundCloud PRO content, upgrade our server, and finally migrate to new forums, and that's just the start of things. Hopefully we'll get that number moving in the right direction soon, but ultimately the more important thing is long-term support, not ever-increasing support. We're in it for the long haul!

Nabeel's post was pretty spot-on; as an additional note/endorsement, Spitfire recently released "Mural Ensembles" which is a lighter-weight, full-keyboard-range version of Mural that, to be honest, cuts out most of what you probably wouldn't use anyways, keeps all the good stuff, and sounds amazing. http://www.spitfireaudio.com/mural-ensembles I bought it & have no regrets!

It's unfortunately an either/or thing, and I personally prefer the auto-embedding. In fact, I want to enable SoundCloud embedding as well - I think folks will get a lot of use out of it. Ideally this would be a user preference, and users could choose to disable auto-embedding based on their personal preferences. Hopefully such functionality will eventually be available to us, but until then, my inclination is to leave auto-embedding enabled. Unfortunately, this does not appear to be an option. There's still a limit - we've bumped it up to 300. It also seems that IPB just does private messages a bit differently, and that the conversion script may have had to make some guess/compromises based on differences between how vBulletin did things and how IPB does things. Working on this as it is rather critical/core functionality. Shouldn't take too long! That's been fixed as of today, though certain areas within vBulletin are still accessible. We won't be removing it completely until we see which areas are still getting hit by users/search engines/etc. and decide where best to redirect that traffic. Thanks to all for chiming in with feedback & issues - please continue to do so! And yes, I know change is rough for some of you. Takes me awhile to adapt as well. 2015 is going to bring still more change to the site, so it's not over. Hopefully, by the time the year is out, we'll be fully modernized & stable and you can then safely get used to things with the expectation of longer-term consistency. Until then, it's going to be a relatively bumpy ride, and your patience & tolerance for change is appreciated. We'll do everything we can to make sure issues are addressed, and (staff can vouch for me), this migration was something that chewed up a lot of my personal time and that I prepared for extensively.

Time to get updating your profile pics, as the end of an era has arrived and forum avatars are no longer in play!! My personal thanks to any & all who chipped in over the vBulletin years to make our forums a lot more fun, especially to Larry who coordinated the overall effort and put some serious time in. Have we moved on? Yes. Do I think people will ultimately prefer the personalization afforded by profile pics? Yes. Did we have some fun w/ our itty-bitty avatars over the years? You betcha.

Last night's server migration seems to have gone well, and we're now on much stronger hardware that, at least in theory, should handle the forum migration better. We'll see; working on coming up with a new date for the second attempt...

LBP Vita is neither a port nor multiplatform. Just sayin', you missed one. Sound Shapes is multiplatform, FYI. Velocity 2X as well. Factor in the PSP library and it's a different story.

We are working with LiquidWeb to upgrade/migrate our servers to much beefier hardware PRIOR to attempting another forum migration/conversion. While Sunday was a dark, dark day for yours truly in terms of frustration & server problems, ultimately I think this is a beneficial outcome that will make the overall site more responsive and provide a better foundation for the new forum software and the rest of the new shizz we got planned for 2015. Lemonade from lemons, in other words. New ETA is pending information from our host about the server upgrade - that could take a week or so, then we'll regroup & reschedule the forum move. As always, your patience & support is appreciated!

My daughter started walking on Saturday, and I spent all day Sunday dealing with this problem. Trust me, no one is more disappointed than myself. If our next attempt is not successful, we'll be finding a new host.

Embarrassing admission: at the time I read RIGHT over the title pun. I literally thought Jake had just combined the game name and his pseudonym into one nonsense word... Yeah

"Integrity and Faithlessness" Anyone else find this to be quite an interesting subtitle? Very curious as to how the narrative reflects it...
