I know there's a SourceTV bot on the server, but iirc it's not like Kagami and doesn't store the demos in a directory for downloading. (Why is the bot named Kagami, anyway?)

It's intermittent in my experience, mostly late at night in the States. Meh.

According to Chili, it's something like 5 in the morning in Europe, so it's probably down for maintenance or somesuch.

So that match went rather well, to put it mildly. Also it appears I was mistaken -- clan tags are not required. Our next match is going to be on Badwater and Granary. Badwater will be more of the same, but as a 5CP map Granary is going to run on best of 5 rules. Be aware of the change when we get there. I've scheduled a strategy/scrim event for Thursday September 30 at 9:30 PM EST for us to get together and talk strategy again like we did for this match. Thank Gaunt for keeping us on track like this. If we can, we also want to try and get a scrim going with atmuh's team.

According to the comments on his WIP videos, it's all hand-keyframed. Yes. On a different note, Team 1's first match is officially scheduled for 9PM EST (some absurd European time) tonight. I'll update the event on Steam and post an announcement to that effect.

I'm loving the fact that the military is in over their heads and they don't even realize it. At first, anyway. Apparently I'm a "Bad Dude" now.

I have no idea where any of our players live except for Chili, Frogg, and FireSlash. ._.

And Team 1 has finally got some multisided dialogue going with our opposition. They'd like to move the match back an hour to 9PM EST to accommodate their west coast players. Still this Wednesday. Thoughts?

Chili said he'd be the one to do it (he is team leader, after all), but said the other team hasn't replied yet. Take that how you will, I guess. OI. CHILI. GET THIS DONE. FWIW, the comment page for the match or something is here, with no comments to speak of. I'm not sure what other public ETF2L channels exist for communicating with the other team for scheduling.

The Highlander tournament is officially underway. Teams need to schedule their matches with the groups they're paired up with. Check the main site for details because it's more than I can keep track of.

I squeed so hard when I saw this. Seriously.

If I say so myself, the scrim went rather well. Everyone got there fairly on time and we played two maps -- Upward and Gravelpit. Good games to everyone. Note to self: Next time, find a venue that doesn't have people working on schoolwork in the same room. Puts a real damper on mic use.

Frogg will have to work his way through traffic and won't be on until 9:30. (Gee, this sounds familiar...) Just talked with him about it. Still haven't been able to talk with Miyako and Bark directly, though.

From what I heard, enough people have said they can make it that I think it's official: Scrim on Sunday, September 19, 9PM EST, Highlander server. If you can come, but will be a bit late (Read: 30 minutes), then PLEASE, say so. None of us want to be sitting around in a half-empty server waiting for someone who may not even show up for all we know. I am aware that it's pretty short notice, but I've been contacting the Team 1 members individually asking if they were available for this and the majority are. From what I hear it's a similar situation with Team 2, although I obviously can't confirm this directly. After the disaster that followed nearly a week's notice, we're hoping that a shorter timeframe will prevent people from forgetting and rescheduling.

What night?

I used to be hoarding my items, but crafted a bunch of them away for the same reasons. The only ones I'm keeping are stuff like the Ambassador and Razorback, where the known Polycount items are the same weapon type as what is already available. Saves on backpack space for sure. And I got a hat, although it wasn't one I wanted.

Odd but reasonable, I suppose. I know there was a funny tango going on when Chili came after I joined for the failed scrim and I was already a Spy. So does anyone know when we'll actually be playing against another team for realsies?

Speaking of which, this is probably my fault for not keeping up with the whole thing, but when does the Highlander tourney start? I've not heard anything via word of mouth on the Steam forums, at least.
