Oh god, that's... Just, no. Why are they revisiting the Stingray? That's one design that did not need a "modern" update.

That's McVaffe's own personal problem if he took any criticism negatively. There are loads of songs on this site that remix the same theme (Schala, Wily's Castle, Ice Cap, etc.) and I'm pretty sure most of the people who submit remixes of those themes are aware of that fact, and they should realize that listeners may draw comparisons to other remixes of the same song. Even if two songs are posted at separate times, there could be comparisons. It could happen even if it's not one of the popular tracks/games to remix. I see no problem allowing remixes of the same track, if that's what the remixers want to do. The more the merrier, I say.

All right. Things have slowed down a little bit around here, partially due to my other project, but also because I've been lazy. However, I'd like to get the proverbial ball rolling again: There has actually been a bit of progress behind the scenes, including artwork, a few WIPs, and even one finished track! (Remind me to get it to you to check out, Walan) I'll be talking to folks in the next few days to find out where they stand. From there, we'll look at another due date. Let's do it!

Looks like things are getting real epic real quick here. Nice work on getting some awesome names on the tracklist.

Days of Thunder features a ton of shots filmed at Phoenix International Speedway, which I've been to many times. You can always tell when a scene cuts to that track because the walls at the time the movie was filmed were alternating blocks of red and white. It's really weird when the movie says they aren't at Phoenix, and yet at certain points just by looking at the walls, it's plain to see that they are. One race scene cuts between like 4 different tracks. I've driven by the building blown up at the end of No Code of Conduct countless times. More info on it.

I have fewer reservations about 7 than I did with Vista, but I'll still likely be waiting for awhile. Give them a chance to work out the kinks that inevitably ship with new OSes.

I would say at least use a title screen shot. There are even archives of title screenshots of most of the classic games out there.
