I removed the date from the quote.
Also, nice talking down on my advice. Mine is the largest, most extensive OCR project yet, so it's taken some time to get out there. But devaluing my thoughts based on that is rather silly, yes? It's been slow, but I've never abandoned or forgotten about SoS.
If you really are serious, what you had better do is sit down and PM/email EVERY PERSON on the project who hasn't finished to let them know your decision. Just posting it here isn't enough, because I know from experience that a lot of folks involved with projects won't necessarily be watching the thread or forums, particularly if those places have been inactive for awhile. You need to harp on people and crack down if you're really serious and want things to get done.
I'd also agree that the date is probably too soon.
Kinda funny, since there is a small subset of folks out there who think that OCR is good for nothing other than "four-on-the-floor" trance remixes. Just goes to show how we all perceive things differently.
Glad to see analoq back on the OCR front page, and congrats to Hemo for finally getting a remix up here! It only took what? Five years? But seriously, this track is some nice work. Nicely done on both fronts, dudes.
I remember joking with Gray, a huge SEGA arcade fan, to talk him into collaborating with SnappleMan on a Daytona USA remix. Too bad it never actually happened...
This one sounds really familiar, but I can't pinpoint it. I have a feeling some of these are doujin remixes, which would make sense because they're something most of the western audience wouldn't be familiar with, unlike OCR.
