  1. I want to see 6 of those on my desk by the end of the month.
  2. All OCR SMB songs with Bowser's Castle in them Any of those sound familiar? When you say "heavy metal Bowser" my first thought is Bowser is Pissed by PriZm, but that doesn't end with any ska...
  3. If he comes to me with something finished, I'll let him back on. That goes for most anyone.
  4. The Daytona video is amazing. I love Mitsuyoshi.
  5. Try running and releasing a project: It's not just "a bunch of MP3s", if you wanna do it right.

    sonic piano

The Video Game Pianist covers a small bit of Labyrinth Zone (along with the rest of the songs from the game) in his Sonic the Hedgehog medley. It should be here, somewhere.
  7. That would be supremely evil. I highly suggest doing it, zirc.
  8. Ironically, the mass bans and the culmination of UnMods deletion resulted in probably the worst backlash in site history, and alienated 90% of the community that was here (regardless of their contributions or lack thereof, they were still community members). I agree with Dhsu that a "phase-in" grace period would've been a MUCH better way to do it, and wouldn't have left nearly as bad of a taste in peoples' mouths. Never mind what the staff themselves had to say about the whole debacle, and of course the glorifying the entire event (as seen above from Radiowar). It's all old hat by now, though. The forums are boring, and that's okay.
  9. All I can say is, it's about time this one got here. This is probably one of my favorite tracks from XMark, and it's still awesome after 2 years.
  10. Harmonious Moment was on the list at one point if I remember correctly, but like some other songs, was removed in an attempt to expedite the projects' completion (which of course, has failed miserably ).
  11. I seem to remember djp actually did send at least one track through the panel legitimately, and it was NO'd across the board. My memory's fuzzy though.
  12. I think Lea would have your head for it, but if you do so insist, there's only one option: Cold Mammaries. Ah, reviving old forum in-jokes is always fun.
  13. Alright, I think we'll try this due date thing again. I apologize for not being around; I've been working at a new job for the last several weeks, so I haven't been putting forth much effort in contacting lately. Also I'm having to work the closing shift at work, so I'm working at the time the rest of you are probably at home. Here's what I want to do. For those that have new song assignments (as in, not reworking previously complete material): WIP OR NEW UPDATES TO CURRENT WIP DUE AUGUST 26th PriZm Plear, Dr. Draw, & Dhsu - Fighting of the Spirit pu_freak - Triumph (Royal Treatment) Andy Jayne - Raising a Curtain Hemophiliac - Tales of Symphonia Hemophiliac, Master Hatchet - Last Battle (Vinheim's Key) Monobrow - Standing the Pain For those reworking otherwise previously complete material: FINISHED REWORKS DUE SEPTEMBER 6th The Joker - Freeze (Cold Memory) LuIzA & CarboHydroM - Fatalize (Strike of the Devil's Axes) Master Hatchet - Like a Glint of Light (At the Gates of Hell) Sixto Sounds - Raine's Theme (Chaotic Heart) Last chance: ALL SONGS DUE SEPTEMBER 31st September 31st isn't the final release date, by the way. But it won't be long after then.
  14. Audacity is a free program that will do what you want. As far as I am aware, the hosts of VGDJ recorded themselves on their own machines while talking via Skype, and then the audio files of each hosts' recording were merged together in post-production. That's probably the best way you can do it, to get around the problems associated with p2p voice chat (lag, cutting out, and the like).
  15. Like this. Actually still one of my favorite classic remixes on the site.
  16. There were also yellow Yoshis, and yes, that sprite is recolored from SMW1. Baby Yoshis never make any appearance in SMW2 in that sprite form. LT: Thanks, Kyle. I knew it had to something like that. I'll rework the filenames when I have a chance.
  17. Chipamp. It'll make any specialized system format play. And as for the PSP thing: Big whoop.
  18. SPCs are a directly ripped from the original game and are not compressed like MP3s, so they are pretty much the ultimate quality. They play just fine with Winamp and Chipamp.
