1:55 - WOW. That came out of nowhere. I'm listening to piano, and then suddenly a sweep comes in. Maybe you can fix that suddenness. Then afterwards, you can add some effects to it so that it isn't overpowering the piano so much. I'm sure you can do it though. Also, perhaps resolving the piano clashes in it will make it more pleasant to listen to. That is, unless they mean something. In that case you should modify them so that it's not just a random clash, such as a chord with C, C#, G#, and A (in a choir song called Snowflakes >.<). ------ Lewis is a "piano expert", I can tell. He knows what he's talking about; yeah, that's right, I heard Waterfall of Beer. xD

These are all nicely done. I think the thing to do is to add some sort of countermelody, because sometimes there's moments where something feels missing in the background. That's most prominent in Haunted Shrine. In Boss Battle 2, that kind of panning synth is what I think you should add in Haunted Shrine if you want to.

It's very good so far. I think an improvement you can make is to create an intro that is full of energy (but at any speed you wish) in order to get the listener interested immediately (i.e. a reversed cymbal). That way you don't lose them before they listen up to the more exciting parts. If you start out "awesome", then the listener will try to listen for the next time something like that happens again. Afterwards, they'll wonder why they listened until the end, and go back to hear the "less exciting" parts. Although, I'm not saying the "less exciting" parts are uninteresting; they aren't. But if listeners fall asleep and it isn't your aim, it's not a good thing.

I commented on the video: Very nice! There are some things you could improve on, though. - ~ Maybe turn down the bass enough so that people listening to this with earphones or with their iPod can enjoy the other interesting aspects of it! You could also turn up the kick and snare, and make a powerful beat there to accompany the synth. - ~ With this bass, perhaps you could use a different one with just as much presence, because the one you're using is hard to discern with when figuring out what notes it's playing. - I don't know why, but the end note sounds ever so slightly sharp. Maybe it's just me. - DRAGONITE'S CRY!

Thanks! ...I get the feeling I'll never find a free, truly nice-sounding lead guitar plugin. So, for like the past... 6-9 hours I did a lot with this remix. I finished: - re-mixing the balance of instruments - replacing the lead of the first instance of the melody with a new--and more ear-pleasing--synth - replacing the guitar synth section with a piano improv section - varying the drums - adding automation clips for the panning and volume of the basses - fixing the solos up a bit - changing up the bass at the bridge before the last solo so that it wasn't the same (boring?) organ pattern (more easily noticeable when wearing earphones!). I like this so far! Some suggestions I have would be: - Make sure you smoothly transition from section to section; don't make it too sudden. - Fix the balance between the kick and the snare so that it isn't so in-your-face at about a minute in. - Maybe you could work with some volume automation so there's progressive crescendo/decrescendo; it's a symphonic remix, so that would be legit, IMO.

Oh, good. Because I was hoping to use it either better or less. xD ------ At first, I thought the synth I used for the last solo that carried on as the lead would be a bit annoying to the ears near the end, but maybe it isn't that bad. EDIT: I ended up adding enough harmony to that synth so that it's better.

Guitar synth? So, at 00:47? (the melody) And sure, I'll do some stuff with variations on the drums and structure.

Yeah, it's been remixed a lot now, but I just wanted to see if this sounded any good and if this needs any improvement(probably does).
