To save you time, it would be rejected based on the instruments being mechanical (fake), particularly the strings and the staccato lead (clarinet?). Interesting rhythmic similarity with the woodblock though; I think that part is valid arrangement. Based on 0:19 and on, which generally has more overt source usage, I think the lesser presence of scales compared to the original (which has more scales and less >1 whole-tone melodic jumps) makes your melody a bit too different, at least until 0:58 for me. 1:36 is the most obvious source usage IMO, and I can say that 1:36 - 1:55 is quite valid because it's in the context of a similar harmonic progression as well. Afterwards, however, it gets more liberal. Overall, I think this feels more inspired by the original than being an actual ReMix of the original. It's kind of borderline for me but I would lean towards it being too original.

How does your cord look while connecting? What I mean is, is it connecting straight on, or do you have to bend it quite a bit in an awkward way? I say that because I have to do it that way to put my keyboard in a nice playing spot, and occasionally (every few weeks) it gets disconnected, and I have to resecure the connection. Other than that, if it's a nice new cord, it should connect fine afaik, since you say it's connected before.

It's okay man, I looked at it, and I can assure you that I would have a problem with it too. It's really dissonant, and almost random.

The instrumentation is pretty similar. The original sounds italian with almost a medieval town feel I suppose. Yours also has that acoustic-like bass, that same waltz meter, and that accordion-like synth. However, the notes sound different enough IMO that it sounds like you were just inspired by the original and wrote a new arrangement. I think this could pass as part of an OST.

I would really avoid using Javascript, because people can disable it on their own. Instead, if possible I think it should be done in jQuery. While it's similar to Javascript, it's referenced similar to CSS files, and afaik isn't able to just be turned off.

You can click the upper left icon in the posting container. Leftmost, near "Font", "Size", etc. Might be better to have an Alt message for that.

In my web design experience, I actually find it a bit of a hassle to do sidebar containers (like for the MultiQuote, Quote, etc. positioning you have there) since it requires a "float" function in CSS that depends on having enough space between column 1 and 2, and actually, it kinda limits the horizontal space for the signature. Something to consider. I like the Like button and Posted contents being next to the post number.

Probably what I was thinking back then was that I couldn't right click directly on the Kontakt pitch wheel near the bottom of the wrapper and click something to allow linking to a controller.

Why does it take over one and a half minutes to bring in a lead sound? It's too long with only fake rhythm guitar and an overcompressed sound (yes, I could tell that the guitar was fake; there are no round robins at all, and all it plays are chords here, even on the ascensions). Compare this with and without a limiter. Listen for the difference in pumping volumes. Along with that, the main issues with this are fake guitar, mechanical drums, repetitive structure, and mechanical piano. That pretty much sums it up. You could have cut down on nearly half the arrangement and not lost any new ideas. Furthermore, the least you could do with your plugins is take the time to write more realistic velocities. No one plays at the same exact volume in the same exact way or evokes the same exact result in real life. The resultant sound from playing real instruments in the same way multiple times is not perfectly reproducible. At least you can simulate the volume differences, if not the timbral differences.

That's not quite what I meant. What you have there is simply a video embed with resized margins to only show the controls. The video itself is still loading in full; what I had in mind was what I would still think is hard: extracting audio from the FLV file and using that as what's embedded, in an audio embed. I would imagine it requires a scanthrough of the video to rip the audio and a dynamic generation of a resultant audio file (like youtube-mp3.org). Honestly, that just sounds like a hassle; it's like reading through a file's coding line by line instead of looking at the whole thing at once (because you can't look at an entire video in zero time), and it sounds like a lot of work to do on each and every video embed. That's why I would prefer just having the link by itself, so that resources on OCR itself aren't too heavily taxed and there are no extra clicks; you just click once to see the video, versus clicking once to see a website that plays the video. The main differences are that you'll know what the video is before you click once, and that the video embed is harder to load than a simple link.
