  1. I loved Azalea town. This does it justice. Very mellow. I love the lead throughout this. Nostalgia literally grabs me around the throat and takes my breath away. The flute(?) is a big departure from all the stuff you've previously done Willrock. But I've got to say, it makes the nostalgia all the more heavy. I put this song on repeat for fun. Cause you can't EVER have enough mixes that give you nostalgia.
  2. The intro to this is great. That stand-up bass(?) sound is perfect. Leading you into a false sense of security. The fading in synths are great too. The chords do exactly the same thing... false sense of security. When it hits you. IT HITS YOU I'm not the biggest techno fan and I can still rage to this song even after a good fifty plays. It's one of those mixes that just WORKS.
  3. Interesting intro. I always feel like I'm tripping out. Haha Reminds me of Daft Punk. That's a good thing. I love the samples that you use. At 0:47 you kick into a Dubstep type thing. I'm not huge on dubstep, but I enjoyed it. Mad props man. I love how you incorporated all of these sources into a mix like this. I love playing the mix after listening to tonnes of Daft Punk.
  4. I love Cyril's vocals. I always have. They're so emotional, even if they're a bit flat. The piano is incredibly good at conveying the sadness in this mix. The oboe(?) is great for the opening part. The drums help build up the dynamic towards the end. My only problem is that it's really short. Is it so bad that I want more? Haha
  5. Firstly, I practically worship anything that Brandon puts out. So I might have a bit bias towards it being good. Let me start off by saying that this is very different for Brandon's style. Halc pulls some really warm synths out from under his belt. They make me feel calm. The calmness is only helped by Brandon's guitar. When Halc brings out his awesome synth lead, it contrasts. But as contrasting as it is, I still feel calm. This mix is great to chill to. 'Nuff said.
  6. This mix reminds me of the first moments I stepped on the Tallon Overworld. I was amazed by the landscape. Yet I felt so alone. As I kept going, it got more and more exciting however. This mix perfectly accompanies my first venture on Tallon. I love this mix.
  7. The feeling of the mix is interesting. It's hard to determine whether it's a happy or sad mix. With the Timbre, in places it feels like it's sad. But immediately changes. I really enjoy the way it's constructed. I'm a huge fan of Benjamin Briggs, and this is definitely one of his best works.
  8. Man. There's something mysterious about this mix. I always feel like something's watching me. Some of the leads feel off tune, without being annoying... it's just uncomfortable. I love it! Then with the heavy reverberation of the lead throughout the main part, it feels like the title. It's a goddamn labyrinth filled with pictures who's eyes follow you around the room. Perfect for Halloween. Not for Christmas parties. Haha All in all, I recommend this to anyone who remotely enjoys emotional music.
  9. Such a soothing melody. I really do fall in love with it. The warm texture feels like home. The high pitched piano that comes in at parts reminds me of sitting inside under a blanket watching the rain outside. Is it weird to get nostalgia from something so recent? I don't care if it is or not. I listen to this when it's raining. It makes me feel like I'm eight again.
  10. Opening with that piercing Piano sound is just a balls out way of making you pay attention. It's great. You instantly get pulled into this world of pure delight. The kit sounds lively and almost Jazzy. The synths are very fun and "playful". The Harp and Piano are contrasting of this with a very Jazzy mature approach to the melody. All in all, this mix represents the feeling of NiGHTS with an unexpected contrast of playful youth and jazzy maturity.
  11. The acoustic guitar tone is excellent, not for it's clarity... but for it's emotion. The fact that it feels very slightly out of tune is even more moving. The lead guitar is contrasting, providing a nice melody line for the ReMix. The waves that play throughout give an excellent feel of relaxation. The ReMix is a great one to wake up to in the mornings. It makes me feel calm.
  12. I truly feel the conflict going on inside the constraints of Ex-Death's body. The proposed situation just makes the mix all the more haunting. I truly believe that this captures the utter dissonance of being an evil entity like Ex-Death. I often listen to this mix, not sure entirely why it didn't make it onto Dawn... but oh well.
  13. The dynamics in this ReMix are what captivate me the most. It's incredibly moving and quite frightening in places. If there was a Boktai film, this would be in it. at 4:30-ish, it just goes full throttle and cuts you down to size! Absolutely fantastic. I'm glad enough that anyone actually covered Boktai. Let alone make it an excellent mix.
  14. Yeah. I've been following him since his Myspace days. I frequently visited to hear his "The Landing" track.
  15. Oh Jesus. I'm now too psyched to bear waiting for this to come out... GOD DAMN YOU KNIGHT OF THE ROUND Y U NO BE MORE AVERAGE!?
  16. Well. If you're asking for anyone to give their contribution. I would say Assault of the White Dragons. I'm hyped for that track.
  17. Yo Helios. It's Tuberz. Haha

I knew you went on the forums. But I'm taking a bit of a stab in the dark that this is your user.

If this is a big mixup... well... April Fools.

  18. I listen to you guys. But I'm massively behind, I'm listening to all the episodes to get up to where you all are. It doesn't help that Wild Arms came out and is hogging at least 4 hours that I could be listening to you guys. Haha I LOVE YOU ALL
  19. Yeah. I think it would be cool. If we could find people interested that play folk-y instruments I'd love to take the track as a collab. I mean, I play Mandolin, Ocarina, Shamisen and Erhu outside of guitar. But those aren't real folk-y instruments.
  20. Wow. Just got a WIP from HoboKa. It's freakin' awesome. I can't wait to see what else he does with it! You other guys can send me WIPs if you want. But right now, it's the recruitment phase and I know that some of you have prior commitments. ie. Brandon with the Wily Gauntlet thing. I might start marking who has actually sent in a WIP though. Just to show a bit of progress to anyone giving the tracklist a good 'ole view.
  21. FOLK METAL YES If anyone would like to collab for that idea, I'm down for guitars and vocals. I think it would be an awesome idea, there's not enough folk metal on OCR. Haha
  22. Thanks man. Means a lot. Glad to get something done for your project! :D

  23. It's "You Must Live". But guys, Trolysis (That's you Electro) mainly. Can you guys talk via PM if it's for individual track ideas? This thread is kinda more for people offering their services and recruitment. Sorry, but I'm trying to be as professional about this as I can.
  24. I understand ENTIRELY. I've been focusing the past few weeks on PM'ing posted mixers about joining. Most have said that they're currently too busy but they'd love to take a track later on. Plus, I believe there's a lot of talent outside of Posted Mixers. But hey, opinions an all that. As for collabs, I'm happy for anyone to take a collab. But I don't want to sort of have a blind date where I pin one new mixer with a posted mixer. That could get weird, collabs should be engineered by their participants. Sorry for the rant, but I'm trying my very best to get this going in any way. If you have any ideas for how I could have a smoother process and ensure quality I'd LOVE to hear them. But right now, I'm trying my very best with what expertise and experience that I have. And don't get me wrong Brandon. I have A LOT of respect for you.
