  1. Mass Effect and Gears of War have considerable FPS elements in them. They're both excellent games, but just keep that in mind.
  2. Hm, yeah I could see that being a problem. :/ Maybe you could find a way to get a hold of the former team members and make them an offer. Alternatively, you could contact the developers of your DAW. This sounds like it might be a feature that should just be built into the DAW in the first place, eliminating the need for 3rd-party workarounds.
  3. We should draft this guy into OCR mixing. Actually just remixing again in general. ;_;
  4. Why not just suggest it to the FX-Max team? I doubt it would be difficult at all for them to implement this idea as an option in FXT, or create some variant of it. I mean, what you're essentially wanting here is a program that already exists, but with one modification. Not only does that involve a lot of redundant work, I imagine you'd have to run into some sort of copyright or intellectual property issues at some point. If you're just trying to break out the entrepreneurship...well, I wish you the best of luck, but I don't have as much faith in the "very" part of "financially successful" as you. Unless you contract another person to make dongles for you, piracy will probably cut significantly into your projected profits.
  5. Well the point of a touchscreen is the screen tells you where to touch.
  6. My experience with Gears of War was actually the opposite. I did splitscreen co-op with a friend (multiple times) and it was a blast, but we both felt it didn't really translate well to online multiplayer. But yeah, definitely looking forward to Gears 2.
  7. Eh, as long as the deadline is doing its job, i.e. getting people off their butts, I have no problem with it.
  8. Probably don't have to touch the actual screen, just get your finger close enough to where you can tell where you're pointing.
  9. Hahaha, the mustache guy sounds like he's 13.
  10. If that was a Bible reference, it's entirely the wrong locale and time period. I lol'd when I got the joke though. I'm so ashamed...nerd humor is never funny.
  11. Try $130. The fat ones are only going to get more and more rare now that they're out of production.
  12. Yeah, there is a planned Duke Nukem sequel called "Duke Nukem Forever" that has been in development for over 10 years. So when anything takes a long time to get released, people start calling it "________ Forever."
  13. Yeah, after I played my games with filtered textures at 1280x1024, there's no way I could go back.
  14. HEY KID. I'm a producah. Help producah.
  15. Don't. The number of songs you recognize is inversely proportional to how much of a life you have.
  16. The DVD for "You Are (Not) Alone," the first movie in the Rebuild of Evangelion series, has been released and subbed. Anybody check it out? It's essentially Evangelion Special Edition...it covers the first three Angel encounters, with the majority (if not all) scenes redrawn and enhanced with CG, along with redone music, a few new scenes, and some story changes. Pretty cool overall, and worth checking out if you're a fan (not too big a fan though, or else you'll just complain about it not being the original).
  17. Cool stuff, but honestly they should have had this channel all along. There have been homebrew apps out for years now that let you download demos from a database directly from your DS over Wi-Fi.
  18. Hey while all ya'll kind folks are at it, why not make a little snazzy sumthin' sumthin' for A Clockwork Vampire? It's currently doing not bad but not great at 34th, and a pretty picture just might give it the extra push it needs. AMERICA STILL NEEDS YOUR HELP.
  19. Yeah, in this case I'd say Kotaku's abysmal use of wording is definitely the real disappointment here. I wish there were a way to do this, just to prove you completely wrong. If you're implying that there is a video with a better display of timing and synchronization, I eagerly await a link. Again, not true. If you take out the backing track, you will hear sounds set to a very distinct rhythm that often do, in fact, play a distinguishable melody.
  20. Perhaps, but then how does he go into the door at 2:14? Is this because of the thread title, or has the Internet really made you guys this jaded? :[
