  1. Yeah as far as gripes go those are pretty pathetic.
  2. What a bunch of jokers... Edit: I think it says a lot for Ledger's performance that it wasn't until after the movie that it suddenly struck me, "That was Heath Ledger, the blond Australian dude in 10 Things and A Knight's Tale." I was never once reminded of the man under the makeup during the entire course of the film. Also this... Definitely a nice touch. Totally threw me for a loop. Fair enough. Joker's is the only that's explicitly shown, but I do think it's implied that the henchmen, hostages, and SWAT teams had some form of cellular communication.
  3. Why are you even in this thread then? Edit: For some non-spoiler fun, DarkeSword's little bro made this a month ago.... ...and it already has 3x more views than my Castlevania video which has been up for more than a year. Viral status is a fickle and elusive thing.
  4. Which area? If you mean the building with the hostages, The Joker at the least was using one.
  5. Perhaps. Personally, my memories of Sonic involve constantly running into hidden spikes, off-screen springs, and random enemies/bullets (e.g. the freakin' MANTISES in Metropolis Zone). Honestly though, would anyone even *want* to play a game where you just hold right and jump a couple times?
  6. I'm really surprised so many people have a problem with the Batvision. It didn't bother me in the slightest.
  7. Yeah, everybody thinks they're a voice actor...that's why games like this exist.
  8. Why do people keep bringing up this imaginary premise? Does nobody remember pushing blocks? Waiting for platforms and spike ceilings? Slogging through water levels? Pretty much the only levels that ever fit the "hold right" philosophy were the very first ones in each game. As for Sonic Rush, the soundtrack was an instant favorite for me. And the tricks and hyper meter give it a sense of speed and fluidity that exceeds even the original Sonics. Sonic Rush Adventure has much-improved boss fights, but the level design is even more unforgiving than the original Rush in some instances. They also added a bit of a fetch quest aspect to it, which adds replay, but it's not as fun when it's of the mandatory variety.
  9. What quality are theater projections at? I never really looked closely but I always just assumed it was 1080p. Is it actually 720p or something?
  10. Yeah at first I was like "dang, Katie Holmes got herself some wrinkles!"
  11. All the Bonus Tracks are broken actually, except for Usa's "Love Song."
  12. If you call a duet "dual-core" again you are banned from the Internet!
  13. Pretty much. I did find myself not caring much about the dialog, and I was running out of stamina near the end, but overall great cast, excellent plot, fantastic movie. Edit: Although what was with the mayor wearing eyeliner??
  14. Aw, he calls her "mother"!
  15. Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime. Fun game.
  16. We need a castle map with towers for Engineers and Snipers. BTW, Bahamut, I dunno when my reserved slot expires, but just let me know and I'll put in another $3.
  17. Well, with WFC and WiiSpeak that shouldn't be a problem.
  18. Well obviously adding the tracks back in would entail including the original content they were made for, or if that doesn't exist, creating new content for it.
  19. Well I'm sure that would be as trivial for many people as rhythm games are for you. Also there are a couple songs in the Ouendan series that would give any drummer a run for his money. That said, I recommend Gitaroo Man and Beatmania IIDX for tone-based gameplay.
  20. I like both of those. I like Well too but since nobody else does I'll put in a vote for Hydro. I need to figure out how not to get lost on that one.
  21. Yeah, supposedly this is technically "Rhythm Tengoku Gold" in Japan but in typical gaijin fashion we pretend it's the first game in the series.
