Yeah, the idea is surely great, but there're already 2 Sonic projects, as Garrett said. I'll still be very glad if this album happen one day Both soundtracks are killer in their own way.

Hello OCR Community, I am very very excited to bring to you my upcoming first album, Silius : 0373.

This is a remix album of Sunsoft's hidden gem, Journey to Silius, which has a special place in my memory, and which had some of the best music in any Sunsoft game, and that's saying a lot!

This album is mostly a solo effort, but it also features collaborations with Jivemaster and Showroom_Dummy.  I am planning on releasing the album in a couple of months, so I thought I should share with you the amazing trailer (with great custom artwork) by The Coop.

Bringing this to you is a very special event for me, as it feels like OCR has brought me to this point.  WIthout OCR, this wouldn't be possible.  I am hoping to releasing this at OCRecords (fingers crossed!)

Let me know what you think, share if you like, and like if you like!

This is great - I love the melancholic, dreamy atmosphere here. The airy spoken vocals are spot-on as well.

I noticed that you added a "Female Vocalist Needed ASAP" note to my track. I think you can remove it; I've been going back and forth with Final Kingdom for the vocals since my WIP and I think we can create a pretty interesting take on Green Hill Zone

    Guys, HOLD THE PHONE.
Forget about every kickstarter in this thread - the only one that matters is Shenmue 3!

I never played 1 & 2, but my heart bled out to the fans that had clammered for this for nearly 15 years. This was a sequel that needed to be made long ago - and with enough fan support, it would absolutely get there!
I'm sorry, I am so excited for this right now

I'll be getting my 2nd WiP for Final Fight Zone up sometime soon. To cover SA2, I've got something in the works for a Crazy Gadget/Final Rush/For True Story (2nd Sonic vs. Shadow boss fight) combo I may have mentioned a while ago, if you want to mark me down for that.

OC ReMix Presents Final Fantasy II: Rebellion!

    June 8, 2015
    Contact: press@ocremix.org

FAIRFAX, VA... OverClocked ReMix today released its 51st arrangement album, Final Fantasy II: Rebellion. The album pays tribute to Final Fantasy II, released by Square in 1988 for the Nintendo Famicom (a.k.a. the Nintendo Entertainment System). Featuring twenty-one tracks from eighteen artists, Rebellion represents the fourth directorial endeavor of OC ReMix's most frequent contributor Brandon Strader, and is available for free download at http://rebellion.ocremix.org.

Like Random Encounter before it, Rebellion includes a diverse roster of musicians honoring composer Nobuo Uematsu's influential work by arranging it in a number of styles, including piano, folk, funk, breakbeat, and jazz with a strong focus on guitar and heavy metal. Rebellion was made by fans, for fans, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Square Enix; all original compositions are copyright their respective owners.

"A great album is the sum of its parts as much as any social movement or revolution is the culmination of efforts from brave individuals. I'm eternally grateful to the artists -- without your hard work and sacrifice, this album would not have been possible," said director Brandon Strader. "To the fans -- I hope that listening to this album fills you with as much joy as it has given me these past several years. Thank you for the rebellion, and may our random encounter continue to bring us liberation."

Preview it: http://youtu.be/JMy-icaL6RQ Download it: http://rebellion.ocremix.org Torrent: http://bt.ocremix.org/torrents/Final_Fantasy_II_-_Rebellion.torrent A great album is the sum of its parts as much as any social movement or revolution is the culmination of efforts from brave individuals. The sheer amount of dedication that went into creating Rebellion will be difficult to properly appreciate; many of the involved artists worked on their music for months. Some of them worked on particular songs for over a year. At the end of this journey, it was the combined vision, talents, and dedication of each artist that created an album with its own personality. A smooth experience that seemingly has its own narrative, from one song to the next.
I'm eternally grateful to the artists that returned to work on Rebellion after the completion of the first album, Random Encounter. I am equally grateful to those who are making their first appearance, and those who have chosen to be on the final album covering Final Fantasy 3. Without your hard work and sacrifice, this album would not have been possible. To the fans - I hope that listening to this album fills you with as much joy as it has given me these past several years.
Thank you for the rebellion, and may our random encounter continue to bring us liberation.
    - Brandon Strader

I'll either be sleeping when it launches or at work (like I am now!) but I'm super excited for the launch too. It took so much dedication from so many people to get this album done (some people worked on their songs for months, or even over a year, of actual working, not just sitting on it and coming back to it later) and I think it shows. So lucky to have been involved with so many talented people.. enjoy the album tomorrow folks

Holy crap, I can't belive I missed this track! It's plain awesome! The section 0:45 - 1:14 sounds a bit muddy for me, but this approach still works very well. It's probably the most cheerful dubstep I've ever heard and it's also one of the most hard-hitting electronica tracks on OCR. Let me say this once again: IT'S DAMN AWESOME! The creative usage of in-game SFX is great as well, especially the butchered "Hey, listen!" vocal clip. And the drums here are fantastic too! This is certainly a sick debut. I hope GlacialSpoon will submit more stuff

Welcome to our brand new, upgraded forums!
After many years, we've made the switch from vBulletin to Invision Power Board. This is a huge deal, as it's going to allow us to finally move forward and do a lot of things we've been planning to do with the site.
As with any big changes, there will be some growing pains. You're going to have to get used to how the new forums work and there are probably going to be some things that we might have missed, or functionality that's different and weird. We're all in the same boat here and we're going to try to figure it all out together.
Please use this thread for reporting any issues you come across with the new forum software. If there are things you were able to do that you can't do now, those issue reports are of particular use to us right now.
While we certainly welcome them, any opinions about aesthetics are probably not going to be high priority for us right now. We want to focus on functionality.
One thing you should all do is head over to your Settings page and make sure everything is set to your liking. There are a lot of default settings with this new software that you might want to change, such as notifications and email settings.
Forum avatars were also not carried over from the old boards. You're now able upload your own user photo which functions as your avatar across the site. These user photos are subject to the same general guidelines that you have to follow with your sigs, which means nothing inappropriate, i.e. porn, violent, gross, etc.
Please also note that any thread subscriptions you had in vBulletin have not been carried over to Invision. If you were relying on thread subscriptions to keep track of certain things like WIP threads, you need to resubscribe.
Thanks to everyone for being patient with us while we adapt to the new forums, and a special thanks to our Patreon backers for making this possible. We'll be upgrading again to IPB 4.x sometime this year as well, which means even more new features.
    Have fun guys!
    __
Issues we know about that will remain unresolved for the time being:
Reverse-Chronological Post Order (newest post first) is not supported out of the box with Invision. Discussions on Invision's site indicate no options available on the per-user level that enables this. We'll keep an eye out for plugins in the future that provide this functionality, but I recommend getting used to first-post-first.
