  1. Oh hey yeah, the music was not that good. Why couldn't they have copied THAT part of the original trilogy?
  2. That's pretty cool. I deleted everything off of my wishlist, I only kinda want to check out Undertale, but I haven't been doing much PC gaming as of late, none at all
  3. The real breakout star of season 1 was Mumen Rider.. people tuned in just to see what he did next!
  4. Yeah, they followed the OT too close.. Jar Jar Abrams played it too safe. That's one of the main criticisms I've been hearing from almost everyone not on this forum that I've talked to Really? I understood everything about the movie. It was just boring as hell. And nowhere in the movie does it say Rey is an incest baby.
  5. Hrmm I finally saw the movie, and I think the most entertaining part for me was the part where the theater worker got hit by the recorder.. clip here Do they ever say who Ren or whatever her name's parentage is? It's implied that it could be Luke and Leia Apart from that not too much happened in the movie. A lot of traveling to hide a droid and then something bad happens, some lightsaber fighting, inexplicable shit then everyone goes home.. I don't know how you're writing paragraphs
  6. FL Slayer!!! \m/ I didn't know you were still doing metal remixes! When are you gonna learn the guitar yourself? You ought to do that, you could probably be good enough to play this song in a month or so!
  7. that I'll agree with. Maybe due to the length, or something else. Seems like cities get destroyed constantly, and nobody seems to care all that much. Then there's like a 20 second moment before the credits where they're like "People built new stuff" and I'm like meh. Even with all the threats to their world and cities it doesn't seem like any of the attacks have made any real impact to their society, which is weird.
  8. The project is very much getting kicked into HIGHER GEAR! Some people are working on WIPs: OA, Rexy, IanFitC, pu_freak who also claimed The Invisible, mithius, RiverSound just to name a few. I'm planning on finishing mine in January. If we can all manage to finish our songs, the album will be in good shape, and it'll be a little less stress going into the new year. And we'd be able to move on to other things and projects that we want to do rather than just making this one wait, am I right guys? Guys?
  9. I thought the animation was pretty amazing, especially during the fight with Boros... frickin' OPM went to the MOON, what more do you want? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KF32DRg9opA
  10. If there's one dang positive thing I can do this year, it will be to get you guys to watch ONE PUNCH MAN I only wish I was One Post Man. A man who with one post gets people off their butts. The FINALE will be soon. I don't know if this is frowned upon to share, but I've been watching the english subbed version on http://www.onepunchman.tv/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTXC-a4upHo
  11. This is cool. It's like a personal facebook profile in your OCR profile. I can only hope people choose to use this. It even seems very similar to twitter. If you click on "Activity" there's probably a filter to have a sort of news feed of people's updates... Really cool, will have to post stuff that is less stupid, and maybe some helpful info in the future. Still waiting for OCR Blogs though.

  12. I like the dynamics -- meaning I like the crescendo of volume on some of the notes, such as the aforementioned tremolo strings.. however, I think the string writing is far too blocky and the way the volume is modulated makes it sound like you're affecting a pad rather than individual violins... should write it one violin at a time for maximum control, and modulate them naturally rather than mechanically. Dunno if you're using a mouse to do it or a mod wheel on a keyboard, but I'd recommend the latter -- also don't quantize the notes too much. Give them a little leeway to sit as they may if played rather than bunching them all with the same start and end time. Reverb on those strings would also help out a lot. It's a great start to what could be an epic remix when it's finished and longer!
  13. I loved it When you want a straightforward track with some really outstanding solos, this is the jam. If I had a backing track that good... maybe I could practice... eh
  14. Thank you guys for necroing the thread, but if you really wanna do something cool, let's necro that there album I know I know, I'm supposed to be the cheerleader and keep all the roster of dudes engaged and all that. But.... I dunno if I got the Shia Labeuf in me right now. If you guys wanna send WIPs or even better, WAVs, and people make claims, we can keep this going either until it's done, or we're done, such as with a fork in us.
  15. Honestly, I was hoping this could work without a date, but maybe shoot for mid-January. The idea is that once the key tracks are in, for example Elia, Opening Theme and some others that are mostly done.. then things could just be finished up regardless of what is left to go -- lots of people with no progress or contact in a loooong time. I know that doesn't sound very structured, it's a bit chaotic, but I work better with chaos, and I hope other people do too. I'm not saying that as soon as Kate sends a WAV everyone else is cut, but I am sayin' don't just lay on your butt!
  16. This is pretty cool. It is a bit straightforward, and the drums seem too clean and subdued.. never really gets into monkey business of a more serious nature. The scratching was awesome, and pairing that with the monkey sounds was both funny and musically enjoyable. The thing that seemed most out of place was that bigass bass saw. The non-saw bass itself is, again, pretty dang clean, like, unjustifiably so. Great variation in the sounds and leads, nice use of sound effects... thumbs up from me.
  17. What's funny is while I was playing through again and saw the ending I thought back to the scene in the Planetarium with Bogenhagen where they're showing the dude die, and up pops a tree on the other side of the world. The ending made me think of that. The lifestream was going to help stop meteor at the end, but where was it getting that power? ALL THE PEOPLE
  18. I really need to watch Advent Children again. They took it off Netflix though. :/ I wonder what happens between the end of FF7 and 500 years later that leads to everyone being dead.. Obviously the FF7 party is dead from old age. But that doesn't explain why humanity dies out. It'd honestly be interesting to see another whole game based in the FF7 universe but featuring all new people, say, 200 years later. But honestly they could keep making stories in 50 year increments, and even have cameos, like you see Cloud in a wheelchair (again).. he'd be all like.. "I used to be a strong young lad... yup, even saved the planet once.. but you don't care about that do you, what with your MakoPhone and your danged... w-w... why are you even bothering me, get off my lawn!"
  19. That's a good point. I wouldn't mind hearing from him whether it's that way or the other. Someone needs to interview him and be like "So... the end of FF7, did everyone die, but then the game was a massive success which lead to sequels that weren't consistent with the ending? OR did you mean that everyone was 'destroyed' 500 years later, which makes less sense. :)" Haha!! I mean, people being destroyed.. as a result of the aftermath, within 500 years, could definitely be the thing.
  20. I would definitely be on board for remixing one of the songs
  21. oops There were WIPs from Chernabogue for Veggies of Geasal! ....but that was it! I'll get back to you about that Mr. Bogue! To everyone else, I've finally adequately updated the first post... Some songs have been opened.
  22. It was from an interview that Kitase said no people survived: http://www.ff7citadel.com/press/int_egm.shtml and CHECK this OUT! http://kweh.jp/ffvii-remake-first-scenario-complete/
  23. I am humbled and flattered that someone would both mention me and break the rules at the same time Did this seem like an album you were going to direct, or were you looking for someone else to do it? I gotta admit I was drawn to this thread cause it looked like a real Scott Pilgrim album was going to be started and that is definitely something I would gravitate towards!
