Ratatouille, but with less cleanliness. We could also throw in a candle for the table made from... what can only be described as... "composite materials"

Kingdom Hearts ReMix Album Project -- Cancelled
Brandon Strader replied to Chernabogue's topic in Recruit & Collaborate!
Where did you put this thread?? It should be in community. I can't even find it on mobile without going to notifications and luckily someone liked a post or I wouldn't find it -
Yes First Prize: Two OCR discs Second Prize: One OCR disc Third prize: ReMix Request The remaining top ten (because you've got to have a reward be far-reaching enough that people won't consider it a lost cause to even try) Paid vacation including room and board to their local city's luxurious sewer system, complete with fold-out table, dollar general table cloth, and enough seating for 2 humans and several rats. That's a joke, but just imagine that in your head.. it's like a Disney movie.

Kingdom Hearts ReMix Album Project -- Cancelled

Count me in for dearly beloved, no Nicolas cage though but if you cover all 3 games eventually I'll think of some other tradition. And/or I could do simple and clean -

Heart of a Gamer: A Tribute to Satoru Iwata - History
Brandon Strader replied to The Damned's topic in Projects
I'll make up for it by totally making one if you can have the PATIENTS to wait, DOCTOR DAMNED edit: My mix is coming together really cool! I can't say it'll be totally different from what you heard from me, but it's gonna be a sweet, upbeat acoustic song, I think Iwata would have dug it -
Well I think this thread has proved 1 thing, the lack of reviews isn't because OCR is dead or nobody's here, it's because you're all asses

Heart of a Gamer: A Tribute to Satoru Iwata - History

It's me and KingTiger right? If anyone is super super mad about mine not being done, I'm sorry! I will be working to finish it ASAP. I told that to The Darned but figured everyone might as well know. Transparency is a good thing. Problem is, I dunno if it'll be finished today, and I work 7am to 11pm tomorrow, and the following afternoon. I'm gonna do my best -
I remember when Garpocalypse got rekt those were the days I could comment more in workshop, just super busy right now. Once you comment, people usually reply and/or PM you with new versions always asking more more more, which isn't a bad thing, it just makes work shopping a little intimidating if you don't really have the time for a lot of back and forth and don't want to be rude! But that's more my fault for having no time...working on it

I never want to hurt butts when I point this out but that's inevitable... it might be hard for a site that takes 6 months to a year for judgements to maintain an active member base. A year is a long time, by the time those judgements come out, people could have either given up with music entirely, or the feedback is irrelevant because they've improved. I would love nothing more than for this community to be large and thriving, and there to be music spilling out of every corner of the site, but that's not the way it's going right now We're all busy and getting old (I'm 28 now) and it's time that we get replaced with the new generation of remixers, but it's harder than ever for them to actually be a part of OCR

It'd be awesome is more people wrote reviews here, I'll admit I am more excited to just read djp's thoughts and the Youtube reviews because that's about all we get these days, but the couple of ocr-based reviews I get from people who actually listen and enjoy the music really means a lot. I put the blame squarely on William Harby, who has not reviewed a mix in months.

You might have more luck at the Recruit and Collaborate subforum: http://ocremix.org/community/forum/29-recruit-collaborate/ Also if you would like critiques on your production, there's a Workshop forum for both remixes and originals GET GOOD!

Tim is mastering confirmed? I usually master as I go but I'll take it off if everyone commits to having the album consistently mastered. Usually There's people who don't cooperate properly and it ruins everything -
Tim Follin: Dirge for the Follin - Musician Recruitment
Brandon Strader replied to Liontamer's topic in Projects
That's good. SET A FINAL DATE DANGIT!! Then accumulate all the WAVs and put this baby out. Make it March 2016. Then say everyone who doesn't make a WAV missed their chance to be on Larry's album. How often does Larry finish the Follin album...?? Exactly.. people will be clawing to get on this.. you'll have to reject wavs that are sent to you. -

My bad when you said it wasn't strictly due on the 15th I went full slab. Other deadlines got pushed forward too though recently so now I'm a little more comfortable for this. (note: slab = sleep like a beyotch) -

vBulletin Mobile Viewing Question
Brandon Strader replied to A-RoN's topic in Site Issues & Feedback
I kept getting a driver error when trying to send a message on mobile so I gave up and cried -
That's indie games in a nutshell, step 1: take good idea, step 2: run it into the ground....... ???..... profit I didn't get TOO Far into Until Dawn, but it might be a good option. Although I haven't got past the "teens in a cabin in the woods" part yet so I shouldn't really comment on whether it's a good horror game Alien Isolation, Outlast, The Evil Within... pretty good options

I vote to make Iwata even more buff He is surrounded by whimsical fantasy creatures and you're complaining about his buffness not being realistic enough
