  1. I can help with the site if you go OCR template. As staff you know what I'd need for it.
  2. NO WAAAAAAAAAAAY so go ahead lol I can trust you to credit me and stuff..

  3. So they're making Inferno easier again? I might have to play D3 again someday. I never did manage to get my Witch Doctor up to level 60, totally just gave up on the game and moved on like everyone else. Though I gotta say it's legitimately fun to start a new character and start unlocking skills for it.
  4. There are so many deadlines for me that they have all blurred together, it looks a lot like this: As a result I seem to be beyond space and time, and deadlines, somehow. Also I might look like this now: You know, stuff happens. And the song is gonna sound like this And I might not destroy it but I might inconvenience it for a few episodes
  5. Whoop whoop nice work, man! Make sure them mixes get super refined and subbed to the panel! Should be speeding up (hopefully) now that they got a new judge and a speedy judge team. That'll make things easier if you do choose to go forward with OCR release, and you'd feel secure if say, 70% of the album was passed on the panel As for me I said I could do my song before the end of August didn't I? AUGGHHH... I'm either gonna have to get down hard on the grind or look like a fool and miss it. But I'll try.
  6. Just a quick update so you know I didn't just disappear. I got a chihuahua on August 5th. -_- I'm going out of town this weekend too. It's been a handful just learning how to care for the dog. Things should calm down soon enough.

  7. I think Crushing Gravity was Brandon Snell with Cyril the Wolf, if memory serves me right. Thanks for the kind words though. MAYBE SOMEDAY I'll do ff7!
  8. I really like this remix. NieR is one of my all time favorite OSTs and it's just brilliant, and I am glad to see it get remixed. My only complaint is mixing it with Gerudo. Why mix something that's never been done with something that is practically the town bicycle of remixing? Especially when you could have used Ashes of Dreams which has a similar enough progression (arguably better). But enough ranting, have at you. I would have liked to hear a bit stronger vibrato throughout the song. I could go into a number of personal nitpicks like that but ultimately it's personal taste and the song is really fantastic. Thank you for making this. Oops, hahah.... <3
  9. How is this not a favorites list or a best of list? *jealous cause he never made a ff7 mix*
  10. On the #ocremix IRC channel on irc.esper.net, djpretzel stated that "we anticipate an announcement about the Kickstarter sometime tomorrow." So... goodnight, folks.
  11. That's some speculation right there. We don't know if Square C&D'd the site or if they will pending the results of this discussion. Best to just wait and hope staff sheds some light on it soon.
  12. Hah, he thought it was 3 people. Happy birthday Chris|Amaterasu and Obtuse!
  13. Looks like you know when the deadline for American Pixels is. It does say 'Coming in 2012' on the site after all.
  14. Yeah, honestly I don't see how remixing FF3 could be a joke -- it's such an incredible and (possibly underrated) soundtrack. I was playing Elia's theme on the piano waaay back when I first started ff2 and I can't wait to dive into it. I don't know if we'll have any of the artists on that fake roster, and the "blank of blank" title is a bit silly OCR-wise, but is a pretty cool metal band.FF2 is shaping up to be really awesome. We're at the point where wips and finished songs are gonna start flowing in and it's very exciting. I just heard a couple far-along WIPs today (from BONKERS and mellogear) and they're very unique and creative arrangements. It's gonna be good. All I can really say, haha. I think people are right to be excited for this one. And I hope they enjoy the remixes as much as I am. We probably aren't going to have another pop vocal song though, so...
  15. Now now everyone, let's deescalate things and pump down, pump down.
  16. Love it, great choices! Congratulations on the new baby, sir!
  17. The PC Midi did have those vocals though, you can rip them off the install disc, they're part of one of the soundfont files.
  18. Alright everyone, get out your albums and your rulers -- come on, whip 'em out! Mine may not be that long but it gets the job done...
  19. Maverick Rising is a sampler EP in comparison! Haha I kid
  20. LAMB OF GOD frontman Randy Blythe landed on U.S. soil this afternoon after spending more than a month at a Prague, Czech Republic prison on manslaughter charges. The singer boarded a direct flight to New York at approximately 1:00 p.m. CEST (Central European Summer Time) and made his way back home to Richmond, Virginia where he was expected to be met by his wife, Cindy Blythe. On his layover in New York, Blythe updated his Instagram with photo of him and a fan who came to the airport to greet him (see picture below). He also included this heartfelt message: "I apologize for my absence. I had an unexpectedly lengthy layover in the Czech Republic. "This lovely young woman named Lia came to the [New York City] airport just to say, 'Randy, I'm glad you're home.' WHAT A SWEETHEART! Her boyfriend Gary had to work, so we called him on his cell. "WE HAVE AWESOME FANS! How rad to be greeted by one for my layover in NYC. "Soon I'll be home in [Richmond, Virginia]. "Thanks for your good thoughts and prayers. "I'll release a statement soon. "Yee-haw and God bless the U.S.A.!!!!!!!!!" Blythe was arrested at the Prague airport on June 27 and was accused of shoving a local fan off the stage during LAMB OF GOD's May 2010 concert in the city. The man, who is said to have stormed the stage three times during the show, reportedly suffered a brain hemorrhage that resulted in his death nearly a month later. After the court doubled Blythe's bail last month from about $200,000 to about $400,000, the prosecutor once again filed a complaint against the singer's release. A Prague court on Thursday (August 2) dismissed the request that Blythe be banned from leaving the country. Blythe confirmed earlier today that he will return to the Czech Republic — if necessary — to face trial. "I'm an international touring artist," he said. "I have to clear my name. So, yes, I will come back [to Prague] if I'm called to court."
