    It's going pretty titsie. I usually don't do cleans and growls on the same day so I kinda dehydrated from the cleans, but the growls are still coming out decent :-P Just need to find the PM from you where you wanted specific style of screams

    You could use something like midi hit point mapping in cubase to make a midi from a big orchestration (I think, I haven't tried it) but it'd probably be a big mess of all the melodic notes playing at the same time through 1 instrument, which would be... insane. It's reasonable to just hum along to a big song. If you can hum along to it, and recognize what you hum as being THAT SONG, then you are effectively deconstructing it to its source... you know, like a cheeseburger.

    Hah yeah, I was expecting IT to come out but I guess it needs a cover? o.o Weird that nobody knew about that months ago. All I'll say is, to the person who makes a cover featuring plumber's crack, you'll win my personal award, maybe a remix request. It wouldn't be an accurate portrait of a plumber without that.

    Har, well the reason I asked it cause I work 10pm to 2:30pm Friday-Saturday AS YOU PROBABLY KNOW, and I'd hopefully sleep at least 8 hours before that, and I was thinking of going to bed momentarily *shrug*. Eh hopefully I could bang it out sooner than later but I'm feelin' sleepy now :-D

    Saying something is too cinematic is just an excuse to not be able to listen for the melody -- ambient stuff is a different story, of course, sometimes not having a melody at all. Ambient stuff is pretty common now, but not for a WHOLE soundtrack. Even The Last Of Us which I would consider a largely mood music soundtrack has a nice melodic song for its credits theme.. and a few other themes I guess.. It won some award iirc.

    Dissing other artists involved in an album just displays a lack of respect for the album, the music, artists, pretty much the whole site... it tarnishes the experience of collaboration, at least in my opinion. I know I won't agree with EVERYONE's opinion and I know people won't like some songs on an album that they contribute to, but it's a sign of good character to not sling mud at the other artists. It boggles my mind that someone could do that. And my rejected submissions from 2010 were diamonds compared to that trash you posted Larry :lol: <3 I wanna do another collab with Beth now and get Digi in on it!
