I agree there are some timing issues, but overall it sounds really good. The percussive sounds are more interesting than the melodic ones, imho. At 1:30 or so this reminds me a lot of the Age of Empires soundtrack, probably thanks to the combination of pitched blowing sounds and drums. I'm not sure about the title - I think "Legend of Heineken" or even "Heineken Zelda" would have been better. There's been a few fun mixes posted recently - I hope it keeps up.

Hooray for DJP! The way I see it is - DJP had a choice here. Do we or do we not force this remixer to change the title of his ReMix because it may offend some people? And he chose not to. While I have no love for the title myself, using "jesus christ" in this way is extremely common among christians and non-christians alike. To some people, the word "devil" is extremely offensive. Should we show our respect to those people and change the title of the 5 or so remixes containing that word in their titles? Where do we draw the line? How many people should we tolerate to be offended without changing the title?

The new site header menu now shows up in the smilie list pop-up window. I bet that wasn't intentional. That same smilie list needs some reordering, btw - and the regular non-pop-up smilies list could use some cleanup as well (lots of duplicates).

I sing in a choir and would be interested in rearranging various game music to be performed by said choir on stage at a concert which the audience would have to pay a small amount of money to attend. Do I need some kind of permission from Nintendo (or whoever) to rearrange and perform their music commercially? Take the Megas, the One Ups, Game Over, etc. They all play for money (or at least they sell records). Do they give royalties to the original creators somehow?

While I didn't personally enjoy this very much, I think it's fun to see something like this pass the panel. Congratulations!

I know just what it feels like, mr DJ. Whenever you're under pressure to do something, everything else is more fun. If you have homework reading certain pages from a book, every page in that same book other than the ones you're supposed to read are more interesting... That said, those banners are very nice.

There's still like 5 tracks left unclaimed, but take whichever you want, even of those already taken, if you prefer. I have a feeling several of the claims made will be returned anyway. Send me a wip when you have one and I'll let you on the project.

Congrats, again. Although I have to say, you are already making music that sounds considerably better than this does. This sounds like something that would have been posted on OCR several years ago, nearly drenched in reverb as it is. I'm actually surprised the judges weren't any more bothered by it. I still think someone ought to make a Ennio Morricone styled version of this song.

I'd be willing to help with programming, if I can, once it comes to that (in a few years). I think that's mostly why I, Mario failed (no programmers). Depends on what you want the game to be in the end though (2D, 3D, Source mod?)

I would buy these if they automatically made my music sound as awesome as virt's does.

Yeah, missing the original chords here. A lot of it sounds really nice though, drums (samples) and that synth that comes in at 00:55 especially.
