oh also I'm suzums ingame, add me to your friends list etc also, incoming infiltrator update: http://www.hirezstudios.com/hirezwp/?p=1884

so this is in open beta now. that means all y'all can play. i've played it a bit and unlocked a few classes (sentinel, infiltrator, technician) but it seems like there's some pretty huge balancing issues. some weapons are just stupidly overpowered (that god damn grenade launcher raiders get for one). and when you're just starting out everything is a huge uphill battle. people that have been playing for a while (or have dropped actual dollars on it-- about $8 per weapon, $2.50 per class) have much better shit than you. and with the 400-800xp you get per round that's something like 170 rounds to get the 100,000xp necessary to unlock a weapon. so if you like losing a lot and grinding endlessly and raging at bullshit for hours on end this game's for you!

bukkit beta releases for 1.2.x have been out for a while now recommended releases for 1.2.x don't hold your breath. i wouldn't be surprised if that doesn't happen until 1.3

ah, a great song, and one of the few VGM songs i know by heart on the keys if i weren't so damn lazy i'd do a full piano arrangement unfortunately i am. and i have tons of crud on my to-do list as it is. but i'll add your request to it and i'll get arounds to it eventually. tl;dr i post in thread in hopes someone who isn't lazy/busy sees it because there's never enough earthbound. How do i use .nsf files in a DAW?
suzumebachi replied to ufo2222's topic in Music Composition & Production
NSF to midi doesn't work for shit. What are you trying to accomplish? If you're sampling NES tunes hoping to make a remix for OCR, don't, because OCR will reject you outright. If you wrote your own NSFs however, I'm assuming you probably did it in FT, and still have your FTMs. The best way is to load up your FTMs into FT, solo each track and export each track to wav, then load em up into your DAW. If you don't have FTMs, you're likely stuck using a winamp plugin and winamp's disk writer output like Oinkness said. I do not recommend doing that though, because most (if not all) winamp NSF plugs have terrible timing and your head will explode trying to work around it. -
Magic: the gathering bi-weekly online league
suzumebachi replied to OceansAndrew's topic in General Discussion
can we focus on standard and legacy and forget modern and extended and vintage even exist? using just innistrad for the first round i suppose is fine, since most of the time is probably gonna be spent figuring out cockatiel and learning these silly new mechanics (two sided cards? what on earth). also i foresee a problem with 8pm thursday evenings, since that's compo time.
