Well it was supposed to come out today, but effing SNK/P pulled another one of their sneaky, last minute push backs again. Now they say it's next week... I'm waiting on it. It's gonna have Wi-Fi, right?
-
Trust me, I know the story of SCEA screwing SNK/P over here. I'll support them by buying SNK vs Capcom Card Fighters on DS. Comes out today (Wednesday). Is it really worth buying these collections tho'? I for one have those games (AoF's and FF's) emulated at least, and they weren't that attractive that much to begin with. Best have some specials to make it worth it... Edit: Announcers. "You can't give it up. Triumph or die!" Yeah, SFA3's guy was alright. I've heard speculations that Robert Garcia was the announcer in CvS2. I can see his face with that voice, but who knows if that's the case. As for which I favor, it'd probably be SF3:TS just because that guy sounds less ridiculous.

pixietricks selected for Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword

Hey, flip out and break stuff when they go; 'WTF is OCR?' or 'LOL those fgts?' -
This is old shit. Shit I played and passed off. I want new shit, I want KoF XI and NGBC for crying out loud. I swear, if these two collections end up putting SNK back in the hole before real new stuff can reach the states, I blame all of you.

Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix
The Instrument of GAWD replied to Evilhead's topic in General Discussion
Well, even if it's SSFT2, I guess it's alright. It's basicly the same as KOF 98 getting a fresh coat of paint. -
Where do you see OCR in ten years?
The Instrument of GAWD replied to Thin Crust's topic in General Discussion
Ten Years? Forums are only open to Judge's Panel and you have to pay to download songs. Of course, I hope I'm wrong. -
Mini Meet-up, Pittsburgh PA

I wanna say like 2 or 3 if you're gonna be there on Saturday. Gotta get ahold of some other people for this. -

Sarcasm doesn't transfer well over the internet, you know that. Dude I'm the same way. I only like a few shows myself. It's rather fun tho' to stop and laugh at the twenty-third girl cos-playing as Sasuke from Naruto. Then there's the cool stuff, like a kid dressed up as a scientist holding a "Metroid umbrella" over his head. but if some are so self conscious about going to an anime convention, there's always Comic Con and others for meet-ups at the Expo-Mart. -
Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix+ Secret Ending
The Instrument of GAWD replied to Global-Trance's topic in General Discussion
You know what, both games actually did this to me. The first one I gave a try, it sounded like a unique idea-could be cool, but as I played through it I was reminded of some low budgeted movie adaption game with the plot holes of Final Fantasy 8. With KH2, I gave it a shot at redemption; but after the first five hours I got fed up and quit cause it sucked so bad. I was then reminded of DBZ Sagas, that's when it occurred to me; most of you fans only like this series not cause of the game play or story, but because of the rapable fluffy characters... -

That's the pot calling the kettle black. -
Well not actually Pittsburgh, more like Monroville. If you're familiar with the area, you probably know about Tekkoshocon. I myself didn't know about it till just last year, WingsinaDream introduced me to it. Anyway, I'm staying there for the weekend/the whole thing (April 13th-15th) and I was wondering if anyone from here was going to be there. I'd call it a meet-up, but it seems I'm not demanding of that much respect and there's probably very few OCR members in this area. Give a holler if we'll see you there.

you know what, video games really aren't that fun
The Instrument of GAWD replied to Faduger's topic in General Discussion
Now that I thought about it, Fun and Entertainment are different but pretty much the same thing. I'm on my--whew, what-- 9th time through Silent Hill 2. I'm not playing it because it's fun, I'm playing it because it's entertaining. Like a movie you wanna watch nearly ever other week or month. -

You know, I'm certainly not finding any fun in the Wii version of Twlight Princess. Mostly because I already played it on the GC and you don't have to do all those wacky motions just to get things done... that and the Wii's verison is flipped, screwing me up completely. I dunno, this just might be enough for me to trade my Wii and two games in for a 360. -
I was told that most of the stuff I put up is good since I put some honest effort into them. http://www.youtube.com/Twardz

Wait, I thought Sheetz was like; a local chain in PA. Unless of course, that's where you're at. -
A question for all reviewers

What I do is put the song on repeat in Winamp, listen for the first few seconds then carry on doing something else. If it still has my attention while I'm doing other stuff, I listen to it more closely on the third or fourth time around. Unless of course, the first few seconds are REALLY GOOD and it sucks me into paying attention to only the song. -
You know... A Link Gundam would be cool to see. Anyway, I've seen people hate awesome games because they weren't a certain way. Friend of mine hated MGS3 cause it had weird cartoony noise and spinning boxes and it wasn't 'serious' like Splinter Cell. and holy crap, Red Bob posted.

or they could just have your Miis on the wire-frame guys/gals like in Melee. AHEM, anyway. I got my own Wii percisly a week ago (last friday). A co-worker told me he was selling his after losing $400 in game of dice (which was surprising since I didn't think people in this town were 'hard' enough to play dice). He sold it to me for $300, including two games (LoZ:TP and Madden 07 [which was traded in immediately]), an extra Wii-mote and numchuck besides the core system. Figured it was a good deal concidering how much the games and accessories cost. Everything's good and nothing was damaged. I'm enjoying this Wii, just wish it wasn't stingie with the internet connection and media transfering.

OCR01552 - Chrono Cross "Dreaming Still"
The Instrument of GAWD replied to djpretzel's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
Meh, sorry guys but I found this alittle dull and the baseline was rather distracting from everything else. Guess after 'Prayer' and 'Lovers Reef', I'm alittle tired of pixietricks. -
Man, I'm treating my current job search like it was something from Shenmue. I go downtown and walk around, then stop someone passing by. Me: "Excuse me." Pedestrian: "Yeah?" Me: "Is there any place hiring here?" Pedestrian: "Dunno, sorry." Me: "Oh, thanks anyway." Shit, I even got a notebook to keep track of all the information and 'clues' I get... Kind weird but it's definatly helping me find places that are hiring in town.
