I really love this game, but I've gotta say to all you guys who don't see an issue with the jagginess of the graphics, you're crazy. The art direction in this game is great but the fact that it's in standard definition is ass. I'm not done with it (did about 5 dungeons so far), but I've gotta say that it's a great game. I only have a few issues: 1. I know what a Jelly Blob (and every other treasure and bug) is. You don't have to tell me every time I load my save up. 2. Store interfaces are crap. Shopkeepers talk too much before letting you buy/upgrade an item. Too much menu-mess. 3. I love Fi's design and the way she dances around like figure skater/ballerina, but I don't like that she always reiterates everything and constantly tells me exactly what I need to do. What happened to subtlety, Nintendo? She's there on the down button if I need her. 4. JAGGY GRAPHICS STANDARD DEF

Cannot stress this enough. The Mega Man Zero series's story is fantastic, especially in how it explores the relationship between Zero and X (especially when you look at all the extended materials like the drama tracks from the soundtracks).

Hey guys. Remixes for round 4 are up and available for download. Some file names had some minor errors that I had to fix so make sure you guys are checking the rules whenever you submit. Yeah SE is probably not going to move assets of a game over to an entirely new engine. More likely they are just doing a high-quality port, much like HD Remasters that have been coming out lately (SotC, MGS, etc.).

Part of what you said is exactly what I said, and the other part is not really what I'm talking about.

MIDIs (by which you are most likely referring to .mid files), don't contain recorded audio, so I guess you could say they're not "sound files." MIDI files are like sheet music for your computer; they contain instructions that your computer uses to generate sounds/music through either a sampler or a synthesizer. As for the general opinion of MIDIs? Not really sure. In the day and age of broadband internet, actual recorded music is much more accessible than it used to be, so looking for MIDIs of songs just to hear your favorite tunes doesn't really have the same impact anymore. Still, I believe artists still find the file format convenient for a variety of reasons (reference, collaboration, etc.).

Not really a big fan of it, no, but remember my vote doesn't really count more than anyone else's, so do whatever you want.

FYI guys, Mr. X's Stage is probably my #1 most favorite Mega Man song ever, so I'm really hoping you guys bring your A Game.
