Sorry, I've done things far cooler than this -- and finished them. This is a half-baked project that will never get fully off the ground, just like 99% of proposed game remaking projects that come to this site. The only difference is that this guy isn't asking for music for this one.

Enjoy the heartbreak when Nintendo coldheartedly sends you a C&D. You may think they won't, but they will. You're modernizing an IP that has no need to be modernized -- because it already is modernized by the very company who owns it. It's one thing to try and do it to an old, dead property like ChronoTrigger (which Square still defends vigorously), but do you seriously think Nintendo isn't going to take note and rape you in the ass for this? Just start with something new. I guarantee you if you're building this for a portfolio, your own original content will get you far more attention from companies than an unoriginal "remake".

The classic 80s vampire flick The Lost Boys was filmed in and around Santa Cruz, California. The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is HEAVILY featured throughout the entire movie, including the various shops and rides. Been there billions of times.

Throughout most of the mix, it seems "empty", despite whatever you have going on. This is probably due to, as mentioned by others, the lead guitar is buried under the rhythm guitar. At the same time, the rhythm guitar sounds pretty hollow to me, there isn't a lot of meat or chunk to it. Also pretty sloppy arpeggios that detract from the piece, tonally.

They must have upped the fan's crit rate too, because I've crit with it more times tonight than I have the rest of my fan career all put together.

I know that my submissions are single-handedly raising the bar and overall quality of OCRemixes in 2009. Huzzah! :3

Is there more of the FF7 party with the reinserted scenes, or does it still feel like "hey look, Cid is making a cameo and saying one line and then we never see him again!" with all of the characters?
