  1. Thanks for the shirt image, Chumble.
  2. Yeah, I was kind of disappointed at first, but then I realized that most of my favorite video game characters were in. Samus, Snake, Link, Mario, and Sonic?! And believe it or not, I've been wanting Pit to be playable since the first Smash Bros. came out. Really the only other character I could have wanted would be Mega Man, and I knew that was a long shot. When I looked at the roster this way, I realized that this game was going to be amazing regardless. Who cares if Wolf is a lot like Fox? I'll be playing Samus. ROB's a waste of space? I've still got Pit. The only problem with this game is the release date. If you complain about that, I'll understand, but anything else at this point and you're being silly.
  3. They were actually MP3s. I didn't keep them, I just gave them a quick listen out of curiosity. Thank you. A spoiler is still a spoiler after all. I use Firefox as well, and they show up fine. it should look like this:
  4. ATs I don't want spoiled for me. I would definitely rather be completely surprised when whatever random character that I remember from my youth pops out. I got my hands on a few music clips from the game. 7 total, four of which are from the Kirby series. Obviously, not everything is orchestrated, in fact, with the line up they have, I doubt many are, but they don't sound too bad now that they aren't horribly compressed. Some still sound obviously MIDI (the Halberd in particular with it's brassy instruments), but really not too bad considering the quantity that we're getting and the fact that, if you don't like it, you can just turn it off. Oh, the LTTP Darkworld... me likey.
  5. [spoilers] Considering he has a red landmaster for his final smash, I'm going to assume he is. I did read something about him being a Snake Clone, which I think could work well, actually. [/spoilers] Also, do we know yet what icon #19 on the Dojo is?
  6. [Also Spoilers] 1.) Falco Lombardi: [sarcastically] I'll take the sky any day! http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg181/xblah/ssbm/1201607069756.jpg 2.) http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z125/BrodiemanTTR/1201618715882.jpg 3.) It might just be that it's on the Port Town track... http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg181/xblah/ssbm/1201609443700.jpg 4.) You're right. 5.) Yes, he is a Lucario. http://up2.viploader.net/pic/src/viploader570844.jpg 6.) http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg181/xblah/ssbm/1201606859663.jpg 7.) Not a thing... 8.) Again, I haven't seen anything on Jiggly. 9.) This makes me sad. =( http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg181/xblah/ssbm/1201607599015.jpg 10.) It'd be awesome, but it probably won't happen. I don't know what's going on in this picture. http://i25.tinypic.com/2duce4k.jpg [End of Spoilers] I hope the quote box isn't too readable. =/
  7. People have been making too much of a ruckus over this game and games with mature content in general. I did however, like the fact that they mentioned how parents should be present in their kid's lives and try to censor the things they don't want them exposed to. One woman mentioned how kids would want to play dad's video games when no one's around, but the Xbox 360 (and the Wii even) does give you control over what you're allowed to play without a password. Make one that's extremely difficult to type in, and your kid can't play it. Lock your bad video games away like you would your guns or whatever. Instead of trying to play those games, they'll just get on the web and watch worse stuff. Then there was the lady that said it deserved an AO rating. First off, the part of the scene that shows the most is the one quick clip of the arse and the side of the breast. An M rated game is basically like an R rated movie. I can guarantee you there are plenty of R rated movies that have worse stuff in them than Mass Effect. The guy that they got to fight for the game could have done a better job.
  8. As most people have said, this is pretty old news. I actually downloaded his program and got it working a while back. Really cool if I do say so myself.
  9. You can actually add a letter A to the middle of my name and come up with my handle. Typically though I use Binjovi or Binjovist for whatever games I play. It has nothing to do with Bon Jovi believe it or not, however the Bin is certainly a reference to my actual name (again).
  10. Metal Blade is so ridiculously overpowered, it could be his final smash. Actually, that would be an interesting FS mechanic. It could replace each directional special with an appropriately launched metal blade for massive damage (including diagonals). He wouldn't be invincible, but staying out of his line of fire would take priority over trying to knock him off the edge.
  11. I actually like Waluigi, believe it or not. However, I'm glad he's just an Assist Trophy. They've got a lot of Mushroom Kingdom representation as it stands. It's practically a Mario game now.
  12. I'm pretty sure the Captain's red color scheme in Melee is Blood Falcon's costume. They looked practically identical save for the colors anyway.
  13. I think just about anyone here who's planning on buying the game is already enthusiastic enough without the updates. I know I am at least... mm hmm!
  14. It's quite often that I have more than three people who would be willing to play Smash Bros. with me, so this addition will make things very easy, especially with all the crazy controller settings we'll be getting this time around. Not an amazing update, but definitely a cool feature.
  15. So I was just lying down to go to sleep when something popped into my head. Read this line again: "You can cast one vote for the stage you want to play. A stage is chosen by lottery from among those voted on by the players." Okay, so you cast your vote for the stage you want and of the four people playing, it randomly chooses one of those stages. Sounds fair enough. But what was really interesting was the line that immediately follows: "Also, the items that are turned off in the item switch are also determined by lottery." At first I read this as, "Items will be picked randomly by the computer," however, when taken into context with the phrase just before it, it seems we may be able to vote for which items we want in the match, and the computer will pick from everyone's preferred selections. Maybe I'm just lagging behind and everyone's already come to this conclusion, but I thought I should say something lest there be others like me that were a little slow on the uptake with this. If it does play out in this manner it would mean, if all players involved enjoyed playing with no items on, the chances of no items appearing during the match would be 100%. If this is the case, I'll actually be a little bit more content about this mode (though I'm still not terribly impressed). It'll be interesting to see what kinds of item combinations this will result in.
  16. It looks like the color of the Wi-Fi menu is pink. Maybe 'cause it's gay. I always liked the whole stage/course voting thing, but why can't he let us adjust items?! Still, most of the people I'll be playing will be sitting in the same room as me, so it's not that bad. If it's the same way in Friends mode (and I assume it is) real tournaments are still going to have to be held at a specific location, sadly. In a four person fight, time can actually be better than stock. Since the winner isn't the last person standing, but instead, the person with the most KOs, it keeps those Samus, Fox, Falco, etc. players from sitting back shooting missiles/lasers/whatevers at everyone. While a truly skilled player doesn't need to resort to tactics like that, there's a much higher chance you'll be playing people who would. It would only be fair that the kid playing Pikachu never wins 'cause all he does is tap B over and over.
  17. Were you really expecting something cool at this point? I'm not.
  18. Yeah, I have to agree with Atma on this. The only "improvement" I see is the ability to see what your friends are doing online. For anyone who's played on X-Box Live, Nintendo's service is VERY lackluster. I understand wanting to keep things simple and safe, but in the end, it just holds them back, and ends up frustrating people who want more control/options. Also, Arek... that's a pretty neat sig. Where'd you get it?
  19. Ice Climbers may not count, but Pit surely does, right? Or were you talking about just the characters in Melee?
  20. GUYS!! Just four more days till Brawl comes ou- Oh... Oh yeah...
  21. I thought I remembered a time limit, but I looked it up and saw no mention of one. Oh well.
