  1. I guess I'm the only one making any OCR-Tan artwork. Oh well, it's fun. OCR v1. Loli style.
  2. The answer was actually mixed in with Darke's first post. I was one of the guys (Bonus was another) working on a design for OCR-Tan when Blackmyst flew in from out of nowhere with his crazy-awesome design. After Ol' Pretz said it was his favorite, I revamped mine into an OCR3-Tan to represent the previous OCR layout. After that, a little work was done on making an OCR1-Tan by Dish and myself (if I recall correctly), but the thread slowed to a halt and eventually died before anything else happened.
  3. I can't top Pixie's cosplay. But OCR-Tan's still fun to draw.
  4. I always thought it'd be the most interesting if the smash balls were only obtainable once per fight. That way everyone would really be scrambling to get their hands on it. But whatever. The description on them wasn't very clear at all.
  5. Not that I was worried he wouldn't be in the game or anything... But it is nice to see him. That's one more old character confirmed at least.
  6. Haha. You guys think your names are common... Actually, I go by the name Binjovi most of the time now. I never changed here since some people are familiar with Bean. I think there's only one other person with the name Binjovi though. Most Google hits for Binjovi are actually me, or related to me in some way. There are also a lot of references to Bon Jovi (which is to be expected, I guess).
  7. They aren't banned on Battle Revolution. I give in any time I go up against someone with a legendary because there's very little chance I'd win, even if my opponent is a retard. Legendaries do all the work for you. I don't see how anyone can get satisfaction out of using them. EDIT: Okay, so I just checked Serebii and if they did update the game, it was just today. My cousin tried it out, but my internet connection was acting weird. Maybe it was because he had a manaphy in his party. I'll try to do some more research tonight when I get back from work.
  8. Bah! I don't think I can compete in this one. For one, my party isn't anywhere near to complete right now, and for two, no weekday is a good day for me. Sorry to have to do this, but could you please take me off of the list?
  9. Awesome. I'll try to figure out my team and get my list in as soon as I can.
  10. I'm kind of curious about the level requirements. I know that in the battle tower, it'll cap your pokemons' levels to 50 if they are above that. Since I've yet to battle over the wi-fi, I'd like to know if it will do the same. I ask because I have pokemon over 50 and under 50 but none at 50. If it does cap the levels, then I'll probably enter... if it's not too late for me to do so.
  11. Bertha is one of the easiest of the elite four for me. I take out both her Quagsire and Whiscash in one hit each with my Torterra's Wood Hammer. Her Sudowoodo requires only a couple Surfs from my Whiscash, and Golem, having a 4x weakness to water goes down in one hit. Her Hippowdon is the only one that actually does any real damage to me. I've been able to get all the way up to Cynthia without much problem, but I can't beat her Lucario. It's just too damn fast and powerful against my pokemon. Of course that may have something to do with my pokemon only being in the upper 40s. I've been meaning to try getting a Spiritomb since it's immune to two of it's attacks, but at this point, I think I just need to level up my pokemon, sadly.
  12. At the end of the Nintendo World Trailer, that's the stage that Fox is on when they introduce him. The platform appears to travel at high speed over some planet (Corneria, probably). In the background, the Great Fox can be seen amidst an epic space battle between Arwings and Wolfens. I couldn't really recognize any other ships, but it seems pretty busy back there. Anyway, it would seem that this is the Starfox course this time around. Pretty sweet, if you ask me.
  13. If this is supposed to be a tradition, shouldn't the theme for June always be end boss? If that doesn't breed enough options for people (though it should), you could just make it boss month. That would keep the end boss tradition, and open up the theme for more variety. Whatever ends up being decided on, I'm still going to use my sig from last year anyway.
  14. Finally! I finally got my router settings changed and got my DS linked up after a lot of trouble. It ended up being a simple solution as to why it wouldn't work. Go figure, huh? So now you guys can all kick my butt at video games! Yay! Pokemon Pearl: 3136 3181 0829 More coming later. Right now I've got to catch Palkia.
  15. Heart Scales are used as payment for the move re-learner. He's in the house next to the lake in Pastoria. You trade him one heart scale and he'll let your pokemon re-learn an old move. This is also nice because there are some pokemon that you catch in the wild that had moves you may have never seen. There are some pretty powerful ones too. I just got Fire Punch for my Medicham, and Wood Hammer for my Torterra that way.
  16. I'm going to go see this movie sometime this weekend. Unfortunately, it sounds as if my fears are coming true. The first time I saw Venom in the trailer, my heart sank. I knew that this movie featured the symbiote, but I was hoping they'd let it linger to give Venom the full spotlight in the next movie. He's far too awesome a villain to be grouped with both Harry and Sandman. Possible X-Men 3 Spoilers: It's the same beef I had with the third X-Men. There could have easily been three movies out of all the crap that they tried to cram in there. The two main plots about the mutant "cure" and the Phoenix didn't even really collide or feed off of one another. They were just kind of happening simultaneously for no real reason other than to make it seem more "epic." The inclusion of Juggernaut also pissed me off. He, just like Venom, deserves a spotlight. Hopefully this movie isn't as bad as X 3 was. I dunno though. Maybe if I go into it thinking it'll suck, I'll actually come out liking it. Or maybe I'll just be able to focus on how bad it really is. I guess I'll find out soon.
  17. Unfortunately, my cousins were staying here while their house was being built and I couldn't NOT learn about all the new stuff. Normally I'd keep it all a secret, but whatever. Yeah, I love my Venusaur. He's the first one coming over through the Pal Park. Second is Skarmory. They're my two favorites. Ponyta is a drag... and it doesn't evolve until the 40s I think. Quite annoying. But you work with what you got.
  18. Yeah. Empoleon, being dual typed with steel, only has three real weaknesses: electric, fighting and ground (grass only does the normal damage since steel types have a resistance to it). He's got some real nice Sp. Defense stats too.
  19. Yeah, Golem is definately amazing. It's superior to Cranidos in my opinion because of it's dual type. That's why I'm using a Bastiodon. Being Rock/Steel means he hardly takes any damage at all. I'm currently leveling up a Ponyta named Spur to use against Candice, the ice gym leader. Unfortunately, I believe Ponyta/Rapidash, and Chimchar/Monferno/Infernape are the only fire pokemon in the Sinnoh region, so you're going to be stuck with your ponyta if you want a fire pokemon. Otherwise, you'll just have to wait till you get the National Dex.
  20. If she did trade it, she traded it to my cousin who lives on the same block as us. Getting it back is less of a problem. I'll be up for some cup battles after I get the Nat. Dex, and after I pester my father enough to change our wireless network settings so I can connect to the Wi-Fi (right now I'm stuck offline). Then I'll be in.
  21. Are those my pixel 'phones that Zircon is wearing? Too bad I can't use/find them. Chibi OCR4-tan will do fine though. There're finally avatars I don't mind using! Huzzah!
  22. I don't max out one monster because the game tends to be kind of easy that way. Keeping your monsters all about the same level is the way to make things interesting. I also try to build a fairly well-rounded team right in the beginning and don't often stop to collect new pokemon until after the elite 4 so that I'm doing less training before I get to the gyms. It really makes the game difficult. I went up against Fantina with pokemon in the mid 20s range and managed to come out barely on top. A wildly intense fight to be sure, with her level 34 Gengar and my level 22 Shieldon duking it out at the very end. I have to say, I'm loving this game. But I've always enjoyed the Pokemon games. Even Sapphire was alright. I just can't wait to get that National (Shouldn't it be called International?) Dex and get all my old fellas back (Venusaur FTW!). I was also curious. Does anyone name their pokemon, and what kinds of names do you pick? I didn't start naming them until I picked up Leaf Green. Right now my party consists of a Torterra named Dorito (lv. 35), a Luxray named Sphinx (lv. 35), a Drifblim named Zeppelin (lv. 35), a Whiscash named Nazamu (lv. 34), a Bastiodon named Chateau (lv.35), and a Meditite named Chi (lv. 36; will be a medicham soon) . Oh yeah, my little sister got a lucky egg, but I think she traded it away.
  23. Done and submitted. I'm not too happy with the results, but that's was happens when you rush something like this. Good luck to everyone!
