With work and going to the gym, I've been having a bit of trouble with mine. What I wanted to do would take way too long to finish in the amount of time left. SO! That WIP from earlier is not what my entry will look like. I should have it in by the afternoon.

Yeah. They're crazy expensive. So, obviously, mine's not a Cintiq, but a regular ol' Wacom Intuos... 6x8 I think. It was a little under $400 or so. Decent price and I totally recommend them. you can even scan in a regular drawing, then "ink" the image on a separate layer using the tablet. This makes things a breeze as you can actually erase the "ink" if you don't like it or make a mistake. Hey! I was interested in the last competition... I just didn't get around to finishing my entry, 'cause I read the deadline wrong. And just to prove it... some fake Pokémon I doodled up: Eggle > Reagle > Falkrown Polacub > Bolaburr > Polabeest I was going for a somewhat official style.

I'll try and hook you up with some stuff once I get some time. And that image above wasn't scanned in. I use a tablet that lets me draw onto the computer as if I'm drawing on a piece of paper.

A quick little peek at what I've got going on. Hopefully I'll make it this time. I have until March 23rd, right?

Great... just great. Somehow I thought the entries were due by the 28th. I totally would have had one ready had I read correctly.

Several years back I was playing a lot of Final Fantasy XI. I always turned the names that float above people's heads off, because I find it obtrusive. So as I walked around cities and other crowded areas, I would be flipping my target around looking at different people's names. One time when driving to work I wanted to target a car in the other lane to see what the driver's name was. Though there was no one around, I was still embarrassed with myself. My brother and I are the best of friends and both spend a good deal of time online. Our conversations contain many memes, internet lingo, videogame references, and other various inside jokes. It's all in fun and joking around since that's what we do most of the time anyway. I don't believe I've ever used internet lingo in any serious conversations though.

I've still yet to come up with an idea for this competition, but I really want to enter. I have a lot of fond memories of playing my old blue version. I'm gonna try and get at least something done for this, though it may be a last minute entry.

I may try my hand at this. And since this is the best place to ask... Does anyone have the OCR4-tan image that Blackmyst drew? I guess I never saved it and it got lost on the internets. I'd like to use it as reference.

Voted. I'm sorry I didn't get around to finishing my image, guys. I've been sick since Christmas and haven't felt up to doing much of anything. Hopefully next month's theme will be one I'll feel comfortable competing in.

Wow. I worked on six pictures for this project and not a one of them is listed in the final product. What are the odds?

I get a month free of rent. Not terribly exciting till you consider the games I can buy with that money. Most importantly,however, I made sure to give of myself. And since there's really no better place to put this: I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday!

I don't know if I'll be able to finish in time. I could probably knock it out in a few hours, but this is Christmas after all. I would love the deadline to be extended, because I want to be able to put a lot of effort into this one. SotC is an amazing game and I really want to do it justice.

The western market is just too big. Here's hoping the rumors that MGS4 is coming to 360 also is true! Nope, totally and completely dismissed by both Kojima and Konami. And Shinji Mikami doesn't have a head. Anything can happen down the road, but I'm still not holding my breath for a 360 MGS4, as much as I'd love it to happen.

What? It makes plenty of mythological references to OoT, including the same Temple of Time. It's just that this game takes place way after OoT, so the connections are more subtle. Also, it's not meant to tie into Wind Waker directly. Injin posted a video awhile ago that theorizes on the overall Zelda timeline (released before Twilight Princess was out) that pretty much nails everything dead-on. Exactly. That was my point. There are references there, but as far as tying the series together so that the timeline is more complete (as megadave asked), it doesn't. That's why I said there's no direct link. It is subtle, allowing this game to be played by people even if they're not familiar with the other games. Heck, I even saw a couple LttP references in there, but it doesn't really tie the series together.

1: OMG YES! 2: It seems like it could if you look into things a bit more. I've never worried too much about that kind of thing, so I really didn't take the time to look into it very deeply. I will tell you that there's really no direct link to either Ocarina or Wind Waker that I could see.

And the updated members have been added to my Wii list.

I kinda missed the old DS Clan OCR even though I didn't participate as much as I should have. Wii: 3140 8182 2845 7423 I'd give out the codes for my DS games, but I still have to reconfigure all my games for my DS Lite, and I'm feeling particularly lazy right now. Perhaps later. EDIT: Everyone's Wii code in the first post has been added to my address book.

Sweet b'Jesus that was one hell of an ending... Thanks to everyone for the help. It helped! So, I've been wondering about Tingle, or rather, the lack of Tingle. Is it possible Fyer and (in particular) Falbi are a sort of joke to all those who complained about Tingle's borderline homosexuality? I mean Tingle kind of sat on the edge there, but Falbi crosses the line and then some. If I was making these games, I'd do it. Next up for Fantastication... ONE BIG GUY!

I'm currently stuck just before what I assume is the end boss. I've gotten to his door, but I can't figure out how to get the big key. There's a room with two symbols on the wall. The small symbol sits over a chest with a small key that I already got. I'm assuming the larger symbol is where the boss key is going to be, but I can't seem to get it to show. It seems like I've done everything, but there's something I'm overlooking. This is driving me insane! If anybody can help, I'd love a hint or two.

Okay, I finally finished all the pics I was supposed to do as well as a few of NeoForte's. I sent KWarp the images through email, but I haven't gotten a confirmation from him saying he recieved them. I'm assuming he's just busy with school and unable to check on his email. Anyway, I just wanted to mention that.

I'll probably be ordering one of the shirts (and maybe a hoodie), but I'm kinda wondering now that you've ditched ZTnet, am I still going to get the shirt I ordered from them three-four months ago? If not, hopefully OCR still got the money.
