so going back 3-4 years now, I started this mix using piss-poor samples and really having next to no knowledge about mixing, mastering, producing, composing, etc. and while I still have no knowledge of any of that, I happen to have expensive high quality ubermassive samples. Due to software upgrades and creating songs much differently then years back, I could really only do so much to the project file, and so I throw it up to the public for opinions. Trash, treasure, or other? You decide.

I think it took 4 days for everything to finally work out. also the thread title got me excited to read some loldrama. then I opened it and remembered the e-mail I got earlier. I was disappointed.

I'll probably get it when/if the american dollar goes more into the shitter and I don't have to pay an extra 50 bucks. also the lack of pro-53 makes me sad (but I already have it so I guess it doesn't concern me)

personally I use AISO4ALL. if/when it starts clipping/running slow, I turn the buffer size up. that and you could go to tools > macro > switch smart disable for all plugins to really help with the cpu overkill. finally worse case scenario is you solo/render some instruments and reload them as samples, and then just remove the instruments/plugins.

I suppose I should chime in with my two cents. YOU HAVE AWESOME TASTE IN MUSIC!!!! . . . anyways. if you're looking for other artists on OCR with a similar style, I would like to think that I'm pretty original and you won't be able to find anyone on here. That said I could be wrong and I can give you a couple of artists who may come close: About:Blank, Radiowar, Overcoat (and the links/people he mentioned above), Another Soundscape did a couple of remixes with "wannabe-skrypnyk-drums"., and then there's the dirty mix. As for genres/sub-genres, I guess it is commonly called IDM (Intelligent Dance Music) or Glitch. Or Braindance as Nase mentioned.
