Its not a remixing question...I want to know what an ID3v2 tag is, and how it works so I can submit. Is this not the "newbes/tech help" forum? With Winamp, open up a song, then right click and view tags. From there you can edit the tags.

I remember when GL mentioned this to me on AIM, and I've been looking forward to this ever since. As usual, GrayLightning fails to disappoint; in this mix, a slight turn, as Freemind pointed out, from his usual style, we have some great orchestral vibes, with some nice realistic instruments and a good progression. I love the arrangement style, andI can forgive you for the freedoms you took with the melody. Nice stuff, and I look forward to these 'best submissions'. Great stuff.

Ummm, first of it's LJU . Don't confuse him with DJP. He is a frequenter of Unmod with extremely Not Work Safe pictures in his sig (tubgirl/watermelons/naked women/etc) He writes as if he is drunk and his words always seemed garbled...a little too garbled. He begins threads that insult a certain group/culture/person/movie/etc and most of the time his threads get quite popular. He is also extremely witty and funny at times, which leads me to believe it is all an act. And once, once, in the old Post Your Picture thread, he claimed to be a girl, a claim that has yet to be proven.

Another quick disclaimer, and this especially applies in unmod: If you make a thread, prepare for the consequences. A mod will not come and delete your thread per your request. Changing the title name to "Please Delete" or anything similar to that will not result in a deletion. Most of the time that will only prevent a mod from doing so, as they are heartless bastards whose sole intent is to make you cry. If such an incident occurs in Unmod, not only will the thread not get deleted, but various unmod regulars will taunt you nonstop and keep your thread bumped to the front of the page. Some people have learned this the hard way. Think before you make a thread! Unless are in GD and you break the rules, the thread will not be gone when you wake up the next morning. Very true. Even I've been snarling, which is very uncommon for me to do. Mind you, it was unmod and I can do that - outside I have never flamed a noob whatsoever. It wouldn't feel right. Yeah, Xel. Ok, first off, this mix single handedly convinced me to go and get the rest of Prot's DKC2 mixes. After a long night of listening to it, I can safely say that this mix is just plain cool. Notable intro. A nice string build up that adds more layers with every second. The dist. geet comes in nicely at :13, followed by the bass and precussion. However, the first real orgasm of the song comes after the drop at :28. At :44, the real punches come out. At this point, the mix oozes evil/cool. The title of the song does it great justice; Cruel Intentions fits so well into this song, it's scary. This song has so many good points (2:13, 3:52, 4:58, etc) it's hard to point them all out. Overall, an excellent job by Prot. This song never gets too long and never feels too empty. It will stay on my playlist for some time. Nice work.

God, this is why I love Kaijin. And This is why I love Xenogears. With such a vast range of excellent music to mix, Gears really brings out some great, emotion driven mixes. Kaijin has not failed me yet. His mixes are smooth like Billy Dee Williams and ice cool like a nice can of Colt 45. A nice chill song for anyone's playlist.

GrayLightning does it again. His recent works (including his DK mix for the DKC project ) have shown an excellent level of musical maturity that has only increased from his previous mixes. This mix does not disappoint; it features some extremely cool ethnic vibes and manages to sound ice cold (what's cooler than cool?) without sounding arrogant and loud. His vibe is subtle and beautiful. The plucked instruments add a feel of realism to the mix, and the piano is vibrant and emotional. The back beat is subtle but complements the mix very well, pacing it just right. I would count this mix amongst my favorites from GL. Nice work!

Very well arranged. I have never heard the original, having a distaste for Halo, but I can say that this mix is very well done. I, not to beat a dead horse or anything, also found that the brass samples were a bit under par, but look whose speaking, so... Somewhat anti climactic. For all the buildup that happens in the final act, there is little payoff. Still, the mix itself is well done. I applaud ye.
