My gym is currently starting the process of selecting floor routine music for this season. What we generally do to start off is just play potential routine music during practice and give the girls an opportunity to listen and let us know if anything jumps out at them. Well, I'm supplying all of this year's music, which means that for the next month or so, the playlist constantly playing at the gym consists almost entirely of OCR tracks.

I'm actually still running the old computer right now -- I booted up the new one just to make sure everything was working properly (and it appears to be), but I haven't gotten a chance to transfer all my files over yet.

Last year I went to a gymnastics meet where a girl from another gym used Wanderer on the Offensive as her routine music. Dunno if it counts, though, since I recommended it to her on a gymnastics forum.

HAHAHAHAHA! I thought this was the best part of the movie, for all the wrong reasons.

Yes, but since Iroh had the most awesomest character in the cartoon series, neutering him is the most heinous crime.

So I went in thinking this movie could not possibly be as awful as everybody was saying it was. *sigh* Let me get the good stuff out of the way first: effects and costumes were spot-on. Nicola Peltz and Dev Patel seem like pretty good actors and would probably do fine given a good script and good direction. And the earth kingdom prison break was unintentionally hilarious. I burst out laughing at the synchronized earthbending dance. Otherwise, this movie is on par with the Pokemon movie and the Santa Clause 2 as being one of the absolute worst movies I have ever seen. The script, the direction, the casting, and most of the acting were absolutely terrible. Noah Ringer was especially atrocious. And, perhaps the most heinous crime of all, they completely neutered Iroh's character.

Mario Bros 2 on gameboy. Which was also the first game I ever owned.

Game looks pretty cool, but I hate the title -- sounds like a deliberate parody of Final Fantasy. If it actually were a parody, it would be pretty funny, but to make a serious game and give it a title which is simply a paraphrasal of the name of another series seems pretty weak.

Multiplayer, but oh well: First year I went to MAGfest, there was a Tetris Attack tournament. The final match, between myself and Isaiah "Triforce" Johnson, took well over an hour for a single round. It was an epic battle, and we had a good 10 or 15 people gathered around to watch for parts of it. We eventually declared it a draw. I think bahamut and I have often drawn pretty good crowds with our yearly tetris attack battles as well.

Awesome. Great guitar work. Production is a tad muddy at some points, but certainly not bad enough to detract from the awesomeness of the mix.
