Missed this earlier. I actually did this mix before "Destined for Greatness;" in fact, the reason I ended up doing "Destined for Greatness" in DADGAD tuning was because my guitar was already tuned that way from working on this track.

We're gonna let the secret out in a few weeks. Just so you know.

I have been dreamtheatering about this mix since I first heard one of ziwtra's early WIPs. The english language lacks the capacity to describe the extent to which I love this mix. Quite possibly my favrote remix -- perhaps even my favorite piece of music in any genre -- period.

So next meetup we need to do either the Sonic SatAM intro or "Killer Tofu"

I've been playing around with the second one and have some further ideas.

Here's the thought process that occurs while listening to this mix: Ooh, cool vocals! Nice production. Cool synths, I like this. This mix is really neat. Wait, was that Chrono TrigHOLY FUCKING SHIT WHAT?!? THIS IS BRILLIANT! transition = shit bricks. I love that transition so much.

Brandon, should I upload our work, or is there more you want to do to it first?

I absolutely love this project. Crash + Restore, Of Sea and Fire, Zeno Paradox, and Binary Chain are mind-blowingly brilliant. I could listen to those four tracks on repeat all day. EDIT: also, another track worth mentioning: oinkness's. There are indeed some production issues, but I love the arrangement, and the lyrics are right in the middle of that so-cheesy-it's-awesome zone.

Either Sabin from FF6 or my RenFaire character (by whose name I am now more widely known than by my own) I was considering going as Heath Ledger, by wearing a Joker costume but with leather pants and a cowboy hat, but I think that might be a bit too edgy to wear to work.

Ok, so here's the plan: I get off work at 2:30. From there, I'll go to pick up salluz, and probably get back to my place around 3:15-ish. If you are getting in before 3:15, plan on hanging around a bit before I get there. If you head from my place back out to Jones Franklin road and take a left, you'll find a really great sandwich shop called Jack Daniels (I reccomend the southwestern wrap). Head the other way on Jones Franklin and take a right on Crossroads blvd, and you'll find a shopping center with, among other things, a decent musical store. Call me if you need more detailed directions or other ways to kill time (though I probably won't answer before 2:30)

Salluz, will you be needing a ride from the bus station? Also, EVERYBODY BRING BLANKETS AND SLEEPING BAGS. It's getting fucking cold, and anybody who spends the night will be sleeping on the floor (though you're also welcome to fight over the sofa).
