As a project that has been labeled and marketed as more of a "Rock Opera" production, I fail to see how it's a pity that many of the tracks reflect that.........

Holy fudge packer, that's an excellent site! Just spent the last hour or so reading through everything! To hear them state, several times, that they are trying to focus more on a balance of solo play and party play, it bolsters my ever growing confidence in the game. They seem to be truly taking what they learned from XI and trying to employ it on XIV! I am giddy with excitement!

Ah, very good spot my friend! With any luck, there will be Tweek the Taru running around Eorzea representin' the Vana'diel posse.

It's interesting, they seem to have all the same character races except the Taru. Hume, Galka, Elvaan and even the Mithra make an appearance in the teaser trailer, but not the Taru. If they are keeping the character design this close to 11, I really hope they have those blasted awesome Taru's!

I swear, first Monster Hunter 3 and now this. I'm starting to get really really excited! The music on the FFXIV site sounds really good so far.

Tweek and Sephfire. Neither of us play much anymore. I am a Taru (75blm/68whm/63rng) and seph is a Hume (60whm). The constant grind took us both away from it .

I've said it once, I'll say it again: if they could make a game based around the mechanics and ease of play that WoW offers with the stylistic design of XI, I'd be in heaven!! Having to clock so many hours into XI was just fine with me at first, but now, it turns me off. Also, while I'm excited to see Nobuo on the project, Naoshi has been doing a phenomenal job on the expansions! Finally, EdgeCrusher: Odin FTW! That's the server that sephfire and I were on.
