I don't know what happened to his remixes. The project forums had them, but the links are totally dad now, and I don't even have the MP3s of his stuff. They all disappeared. It's like, someone didn't want them to be heard. Oh my god... someone hacked our megahertz and wi-fied our server with a Facebook!

I don't think comparing gays to furries is going to win you any points there, pal. You know, because of the whole actual persecution thing they had. You want to defend furries, you go right ahead, but make sure you don't do the same thing they do, namely comparing themselves to actual victims. My own personal experience with furries has been in the magnitude of several hundred, not a few. They basically invaded an anime convention over several years. You ever go to Animethon in Edmonton? It used to go like this: come in, watch shows, buy stuff, maybe take pics of the few cosplayers that showed up, go home. One year, (I think around A6?) a few dozen furries showed up. OK, no problem. The next day, more showed up. Fine. Except they tried to hold a fucking yiffing session in public, without permission from either the staff or the facility. It's a family-friendly event, and it's public. Not the best place to start that kind of shit. Next year, it was worse. They got defensive about the previous year and the staff almost had to call for facility security (not the staff volunteer guys, but actual security) to get them to calm down. Yelling partook, people were told to leave and not come back again. The next year, they showed up in fucking force. They crowded show rooms with their over-sized costumes and wouldn't remove them for the sake of others. They wouldn't take off their masks so the staff could see if any of them were of the list from the last year. Overall, it was year after year of shit and having to put up with them and their constant disrespectful behavior. I stopped going because I had had it with them. I haven't been back in years. I still hear about the crap they try to pull every year from others that still attend. they may have toned it down, but they show up and ruin it for others. So, you want to say that I'm only basing my personal experiences with furries because of a few? How about a few hundred? Pretty much the entire local furry, maybe even the regional, community? Is that enough of a basis for my dislike of them for you?

Those other groups don't have giant chips on their shoulders and massive community complexes about non-existent persecution. I've met furries that actually believed they were the modern equivalent to Jews. Yes, because governments around the world are shipping furries to camps for horrible deaths. Exactly the same. Exactly. Trekies, S&Mers, even the worst fanboys don't think like that. Furries, on the other hand, seem to be all about perceived wrongs they haven't faced. Even if it is just a vocal minority, they aren't helping themselves any. Shoving it my face when I meet them doesn't help it any. I could happily not know about your fucking fetishes when we're having dinner, thank you very much. Keep it to yourselves.

The only jokes I've ever heard about him area bout his movies, not his name. What a twist?

Wow, that's almost enough to get even me to finish the game.

Look, you find another group everyone can bash for no real reason, you go ahead and tell us about it. Until then, we have to pick on them to distract ourselves from our own crippling lack of "special and unique".

Nintendo remix album: need game ideas
The Damned replied to mikurotoro's topic in Music Composition & Production
What the fuck? I posted a message last night about the in-house Nintendo groups that made games, and now it's gone? I swear, this happens more times than it should. Any way: Brownie Brown, EAD, Intelligent Systems, Monolith Soft, NSD, NST, Project Sora, Retro Studios, SPD, SDD, Special-Projects, Technology Development and Nd Cube are all first-party groups that Nintendo has either made or bought over the years. They are the ones that made a lot of the Nintendo titles over the years. You can check out their info and games they made here. That list should give you an idea of what games you can pick and choose from, and then from there, what songs you can remix. -
I never said I hated them, I just said they give too much away. Even the old ones from the 60s and 70s, which were often upwards of seven minutes in length, weren't as bad. There used to be this odd show in TV where they would show old movie trailers from back then. A more modern one I liked would be Casino Royale. Not too revealing, with a decent balance of "here's what you can expect" and "not giving everything away". But yeah, trailers just give too much away these days. The only thing that's worse is the trailer that shows absolutely nothing, and expects you to still want to see it.

Zero Punctuation (Hilarious) Game Reviews
The Damned replied to sephfire's topic in General Discussion
Really? I just re-watched it. He spent as much time bashing the movie studios than Nintendo. Sony and MS got the majority of the bashing. I'd say he was fairly lean on the Nintendo hate. -
By having watched the original A-Team a lot? Aside from the blatant killing the new movie has, it's not that far off from the series. Man, I miss that show now. Gonna go see if I can find it on DVD or something.
-
Trailers are meant to make you want to see the movie. Too bad they're so cliché and procedural these days, you can tell how good the movie will be based upon the trailer. They show lots of good action bits? Guess what? They just showed all the action bits. Now you have nothing to be surprised by, you've seen the best parts. They show all these tender, touching moments between the characters? Well, you know exactly how the movie is going to be now. They love each other, some jerk comes between them, jerk gets his come-upence, they get a happy ending. Zombies? Everyone is fucked. Slightly funny zombies? Pretty much everyone is fine. Yeah, trailers just... they just suck. A-Team, I knew what was going to happen. Transformers 1 and 2, called it. Man, what happened to trailers that weren't just poorly condensed versions of the movie?
-
... ... Is it me? I don't think it is, but I can't really be trusted.

What's VGMix? Some noob site?
-
Meh. Might download it after it comes out on DVD... or not. Meanwhile, I have the series to watch. Series > Movie, always.

Shut up, this is the anti-furry thread, so start hatin' or gtfo. Also, those girls in Japan that wear fake tanning solution and have waaaaaaay too much makeup on. Christ, cover yourself up anymore, and we'd have to start breaking out the shovels just to see actual skin. But they're more of a 3 on the scale, and furries are more like an 8. It's 10 point scale, with a modifier using decimal points to help adjust for mood or time of year, things like that. I'll post the scale later, with some nice charts and stuff. I think you'll like it.
-
A little less spite, and that would parallel my own feelings towards furries. The more vocal ones are the ones that tend to ruin things for others. Fucking furries... stop ruining things for the rest of us.
-
Didn't they mention virtual console already? I could have sworn they did. But that link to IGN doesn't work. I think you have two links that are mixed together.
-
Well, that was relatively easy... I wonder if there are any others I can do now.

Red Article by: The Damned Pictured from: Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen Created by: Game Freak First appearance: 1996 Bio Red is the first protagonist of the Pokémon game series. His playable appearances are limited to being the player character in both the original Game Boy games Red, Blue and Yellow, and the Game Boy Advance remakes, Fire Red and Leaf Green. He also appears as the final trainer atop Mount Silver in Gold, Silver and Crystal, as well as their remakes, HeartGold and SoulSilver. Red also makes cameos in other Nintendo titles, such as Super Smash Bros. Melee. Red began his journey though his homeland of Kanto, a place of open country and bustling cities. Professor Oak, the leading expert on creatures called Pokémon, enlisted Red to aid his research. Given the task of finding and capturing as many Pokémon as he could, Red headed out onto an adventure of exploration, discovery and action. Red isn't known for speaking much, instead preferring to converse in simple "Yes" and "No" responses to most characters. Most of the time, the person(s) he is engaged with will simply continue to speak without interruption until they are done. This may make Red seem timid, but the truth is, he is highly skilled in Pokémon battling. Red has easily defeated not only the eight Kanto Gym Leaders, highly skilled trainers specializing in certain types of Pokémon, but also the Elite Four, the highest ranked trainers in the land. Red also single-handedly defeated the criminal organization Team Rocket, trainers who use Pokémon as tools and weapons to spread their influence across the land. Upon his victory against the Elite Four, he was crowned the Indigo League Champion. Seeking ever higher skill, he trained on top of the vicious, snow-capped peak of Mount Silver, waiting for a challenger worthy enough to reach him. In the sequel games, the player can only face Red after defeating the Gym Leaders of both the Kanto and Johto regions, and the Elite Four. But even then, he has had three years to hone his skills and raise his team, making this battle one of he most difficult of the entire series. Aside from his vast collection of Pokémon, Red also has access to several useful tools. He has a collapsible bicycle for speedy transportation; a backpack filled with Pokéballs for catching wild Pokémon; Technical and Hidden Machines, devices used to teach Pokémon new attacks; and the exclusive Pokédex, a device that records all known information on any Pokémon that Red encounters and captures. These tools and his highly trained team of Pokémon have allowed to advance the understanding of Pokémon greatly. Selected game appearances === Game Boy === Pokémon Red (1996) Pokémon Blue (1996) Pokémon Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition (1998 ) === Game Boy Color === Pokémon Gold (1999) Pokémon Silver (1999) Pokémon Crystal (2000) === Game Boy Advance === Pokémon FireRed (2004) Pokémon LeafGreen (2004) === Wii === Super Smash Bros. Brawl (2008 ) === DS === Pokémon HeartGold (2009) Pokémon SoulSilver (2009) References Bulbapedia - "Red (Game)" Wikipedia - "List of Pokémon Characters" Yeah, so after some corrections here and there, and removing the more superfluous game appearances, I think this is more detailed without having too much clutter.

Yep. It's should be "of open country" (ie, fields of grass and forests and all that naturey stuff). Minor typo. Changed. Gotcha. So that link should be fine, then.

-The Pokéball design on the floors of Pokémon Centers are gold and silver. -Jasmine from Olivine Gym appears at the north end of Sunyshore -Location data pointers in Diamond and Pearl contained a code for "Johto" instead of "Sinnoh".I think there are a few others, but those are the ones that I can recall off-hand. If you want to go even further back, in Fire/Leaf, they mentioned a red-haired boy. The only significant red-haired boy at that point in the series was your rival from GSC. It's later revealed that he is Giovanni's son, which explains some of his behavior in HGSS. Now, until I see hints like this in BW, I'm going to discount any remakes of 3rd gen. Of course, if we do get them, then we also have to get remakes of the remakes. Then in gen 6, we can have remakes of DPPt, as well as HGSS. Then in gen 7, we can have remakes of the remakes of the remakes...
-
Also, we have to hate furries for no reason. The rule book says so. It's page, four, by the way. Halfway down.
-
Yeah, about that whole "Ruby/Sapphire remake" thing... I don't think it's going to happen. People are looking at a pattern of two instances. That's not exactly the greatest sample to determine things. Now, the same thing was said about HG/SS, but there were hints scattered about DPPt. So until we see a bunch of stuff in BW that hints at Hoenn, I doubt it. Besides, we already have two sets of remakes. Do we really need more?
