  1. Yeah, they seemed to confirm that in a recent interview.
  2. Well a SXSW gig didn't happen, so I'm guessing you meant to post over here.
  3. Apparently Coachella attendees stayed up all night and got lucky. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CGP2rkuEDl4 EDIT: Dat TV ad version
  4. I was asked about joining the project before, but I was mainly busy with working on my own album. Now that I've acquired some free time, I would gladly claim Freezeezy Peak. There's an arrangement idea I've been rolling around in my head for months now, and I can PM a brief demo of it today.
  5. Documentary feat. Giorgio Moroder Documentary feat. Todd Edwards Documentary feat. Panda Bear Release date: May 21, 2013 Has it really been eight years since Daft Punk's previous studio album? Man, the iPhone didn't even exist yet. Anyway, this release seems like it's leaning toward a Discovery style, but instead of sampling 1970s/80s records directly, they're making new grooves with the help of musicians from the era (Nile Rodgers of Chic, Giorgio Moroder, etc). What do you think?
  6. Download it here - name your price (including zero) So yeah, there's this wild rumor that my new album totally synchronizes with the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz. I wanted to produce an original work that deliberately plays off of the visual imagery of the film. The end result would effectively be an alternate score and therefore would have recurring themes. The styles of music in Through the Prism vary from pop to orchestral and electronic. This is my first pay-what-you-want album, and any (optional) payment will be put toward future artistic projects. So, what do you think of this album? Please leave your thoughts below.
  7. Daaang, I remember participating in that conceptual music competition a while back. It may have been what got me into experimenting with music production in the first place. Anyways, happy day to all the birthday people.
  8. I guess I would want to focus on engaging my audience more. I put out a lot of stuff, but maybe I should spend equal time listening to the people I'm sharing with.
  9. Announcement trailer and preview medley for my upcoming album. Through the Prism was conceived as an alternate soundtrack for the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz.
  10. Oh, and since someone was wondering, here's the list of Duosis ingredients: Kylie Minogue - "Santa Baby" (instrumental) Shakira - "Santa Baby" (a cappella) Vince Guaraldi Trio - "Christmas Time Is Here" (instrumental) The Manhattan Transfer - "Christmas Time Is Here" Jen Miller - "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas" Bob Wills & The Texas Playboys - "Santa's on His Way" JH Sounds - "Last Christmas" (narration performed by Meteo Xavier) lots of breakbeats and synth
  11. I downloaded this onto my phone and listened on my commute home. Hooray, it's a swank album.
  12. Well, I guess volume 6 is out now. Also the download-the-entire-album link was wrong, here's the fixed link.
  13. There are three things wrong with what you just wrote.
  14. Heh, I can tell there was a lot of time spent on refining the plot elements. Even now I'm recalling little touches of foreshadowing disguised as subversive humor. For example someone points out that the King really seems to like pink, which comes off as a joke about his effeminateness at first, but later ties into the fact that the castle was never his domain in the first place.
