  1. First people bitched about it, and now they're begging to have it back. It's like djp's conducting some bizarre behavioral experiment.
  2. Is "Merry-Go-Round" cursed or something? My song didn't make the cut, someone else said they were going to do it, but they seem to have vanished, and now bLiNd is added to the list
  3. No, that was a reference to how much work's been a pain. He asked me for a sig over a month ago, and I'm still trying to get it done in time for Halloween.
  4. Mine's alive and well. Time just doesn't want to cooperate with me lately. Ask Doulifée
  5. I really wanted to work on this, and actually did for a bit. But between work, writing and previous commitments to other folks here, I just couldn't put the time in. Something had to give, and I'm afraid it was working on this. Even so, it was nice to see that I got Sir_NutS to dig out his coconuts
  6. Sounds like fun, but I never had access to the wiki. I believe that was Dafydd and a couple of the other bio writers.
  7. ... You're not pulling a Jame 'Buffalo Bill' Gumb on us, are you?
  8. All right, then I fell sorry for the one who had to redo them. Edit: Hmmmm... seems only one third of the mascots are up and running. Are they still being worked on? If so, I can lend a hand.
  9. ARE WE BEING DA HAXXORED?! Anyway, if they're changing the skin, I feel sorry for the one who has to redo all the mascots

  11. I never watched the Mario shows on TV, but I knew of good ol' Captain Lou Albano. His loud mouthed WWF days, the rubber bands in his beard, popping up in music videos and cartoons... seemed like he was everywhere for a while. Rest in peace Captain.
  12. Very nicely done. It's not often you see someone develop a painterly skill in such a seemingly offbeat medium, and she's quite good at it. Kudos to her for winning. I was a bit surprised to here the version of Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters" at the end of her performance. It fit given the musical style it was done in, but it still surprised me to hear it.
  13. Sweeeeeet. It makes listening so much more enjoyable when you actually know what's being said.
  14. Thanks, and welcome to the site.

  15. Any chance of getting the lyrics for all the songs on a text file or something?
  16. Maybe I'm not the only one having problems downloading it. I figure when FireFox and IE are both getting that Flash/Popup Blocker message (with Flash 10, and popup blocking disabled), something's not right. I literally can't even click the play button without getting that message. Perhaps upload it to another file host? Edit: Figured it out. Somewhere along the way, Flashblock was installed in FireFox. It replaces Flash objects with a symbol that you click on to enable that Flash content. If you have it, disable it. That's what's preventing the download.
  17. Nope. No digging. They just hold open the cartridge port flaps, and they won't scratch up your Genesis or anything. I've had my 32X for years, and it hasn't left a single mark on my old model 1 Genesis... and I've hooked up and unhooked that 32X a lot. You might be thinking of the Sega CD plates that attach to the bottom of the Genesis. You put a metal plate under there, and it attaches with a screw, and a few tabs that slide into place (it's an RF shield... which now that I think about it, might be what those metal tabs are for the 32X). But even that won't do any damage really unless you handle the plate clumsily. And yeah, putting out the 32X was a rather poor move on Sega's part. But the little mushroom system did get some fun games during its brief lifespan, so it wasn't a total loss... especially if you picked it up for $30 new (with Doom) when stores were trying to get rid of them.
