Or you know... make a fun parody to the series..? :)!!

I have this on my computer.

I suck so hard that I haven't beaten a single stage. (granted I only played for 20 minutes)

A certain poster friend introduced me to this game. It's really good, but I was wishing the sprite would be Mega Man the whole time (thanks dude). Anyway, here's what I was wanting to say:

I think it's awesome that people are getting excited over an 8-bit tribute, even moreso than many "current gen" games. I'm really hoping that this is going to be a long trend. I mean, imagine if the same thing goes with Mario, Zelda, Double Dragon, "insert your favorite franchises here". I'm really happy about Mega Man 9, and I'm anticipating it more than any other game right now. Welcome back Mega Man.

Hey, it's heat-man that needs another chance to shine. Robot master that most looked like a box of chicken nuggets.

Chicken nuggets? You're the first I've heard that DIDN'T compare him to a Zippo lighter! What about Hard Man? If I were a porn star, that would be my screen name!

A box of chicken nuggets? Someone really likes chicken nuggets. Well, I kinda like them too, but sometimes I think that the developers really meant for him to look like a Zippo lighter.

I think the 8 bit thing would have been fine if they cleaned it up and made the environments look appropriate to the systems. I think it's just a cop-out. And I'm usually the person who cares about gameplay more than graphics (i.e. I like Castlevania: SOTN better than CoD4).

Unless of course there's a TON of material in the game, and then I'll be cool with it.

So, do you see black and white movies as a cop-out as well?

Jeez, does Capcom think we were born yesterday? There's no way in heck Wily's the good guy and Light is the bad guy.

Also, it looks like bolts from Mega Man 7 came back!

Ya know... comparing the citizens of that world and our world.... I wouldn't be surprised if humanity actually fell for such a lie... I don't think I'd need to explain...

Wow, such an obious plot. Dr. Wily has ZERO trouble building robots for 7 games, now suddenly he needs money wired to a Swiss bank account to save the world? The Dr. Light talking to Wily was a robot copy, he's done it before, in Mega Man 3. Those robots ARE Dr. Lights, and also the test subjects for Wily now-experimental Maverick Virus. Capcom isn't even trying to be secretive here.

I still can't wait to play it!

I do like that the citizens are calling Dr. Light to COMPLAIN about him taking over the world! Nobody ever called Wily, why, is his number unlisted? Or do Skull Castles rely on Yahoo Messenger for external contact?

How would that work if there aren't even any reploids yet?

The Maverick Virus affected reploids, not mechaniloids IIRC.
