Blargh, I've got this company party thing (that I want to go to) friday night starting at 7.

I guess I can hop in later though. Once people figure out what rules we're going by, somebody can let me know and I can whip up a character. (I've certainly been through that process a million times).

I think that's for the sports commentary, not the DnD game.

Exactly! The new taunt just looks so odd. I would rather the kill taunt use the old animation and somehow kill/stun his enemies with the music.

you should just keep demos and record them with fraps later as itll make things look choppy

Wait what.

Either your saying my video is choppy now and Fraps would improve it, or you're saying the video's fine and suggesting Fraps to make it choppy in jest. I can't tell.

im saying record a demo and then afterwards playback the demo in tf2 and when you play it back capture the video to an avi however you do it (i use fraps)

I use TF2's built in commands.

sv_cheats 1

host_framerate 30

startmovie mymovie.avi avi

playdemo demoname

*do something else for a few hours while it processes*

*better yet, do it overnight*

*edit movie and publish*

What's with all the dinging when you damage enemies?

He has the hit damage sound on just so you know when you hurt someone rather than thinking you do lol

Like those times when you're sure you just stabbed someone in the back and he didn't die now with the sound you can tell whether you hurt them at all

It gets slightly annoying with Pyro, since it'll go off for each tick of damage dealt by afterburn, too. Not to mention the fact that fire damages via a stream of particles, so using the flamethrower at all makes your ears bleed.

I tried modifying the pitch/volume with the new commands, but I couldn't figure out the best way to make it noticeable-yet-subtle. Meh.

I have it on myself and I play Pyro quite a bit... I don't really find it ear breaking but I can see why you'd think that.

Personally I just use it to work out whether someone I've set on fire remains on fire.

tf_dingaling_volume 50 worked for me

i follow this guide and it works out really well for me

its also nice being able to do a little editing in sony vegas (although i am rather poor at it)

I hate introductions. So hi - I'm Mrs. Bark. I haven't been around very long, but I am currently enjoying TF2 on the OCR servers very much.

I am posting here because I have a weird brain. And it currently has insomnia, and when I do sleep I have really messed-up dreams. Which normally might have nothing to do with computer games, or music. But when I play computer games too close to going to sleep, I end up dreaming about them. So lately I have messed-up dreams about TF2. (Crit rocket?)

I promise I am actually going somewhere with this.

That somewhere is the bastard child of my subconscious mind, TF2, and...Lady Gaga. This...thing, has been fighting its' way out of my head for a week. I am both amused, and a little embarassed at the same time, to have written this. Some friends, and Bark, have encouraged me to share it. Please, be gentle(!).

SourceBans isn't working right now. I'm not sure if it's because I need to restart BLU or mess around with some settings.

Restarting the server seems to have fixed this.
