Ab56 v2 aka Ash Posted March 20, 2005 Posted March 20, 2005 What he said. None of the files work. Edit: Or what, is this just reserved space?
Sinewav Posted March 20, 2005 Posted March 20, 2005 There's a text document inthat folder, for those who missed it. "having trouble accessing the files? contact granddream98 via aim or email unlimited_mp3_hosting@herograw.com" That's what I did. We'll see what happens from there, I guess.
Claado Shou Posted March 20, 2005 Author Posted March 20, 2005 Hmm...it was working fine for a good amount of time, but now it seems that it isn't. I'll look into what's going on. Additionally, I need to request of all remixers... PLEASE SEND ME A SHORT, PARAGRAPH-LONG DESCRIPTION OF YOURSELF, FOR USE IN THE CREATION OF THE CHRONO SYMPHONIC WEBSITE. THIS IS A CRUCIAL STEP IN OUR PATH TOWARDS BEING A TRUE SITE PROJECT, SO... ~.C.S.~
Claado Shou Posted March 20, 2005 Author Posted March 20, 2005 UPDATE: I reuploaded the files to a new section of the herograw server, so now they're back online, but somewhere else instead. Additionally, there's a website! Visit it! http://chronosymphonic.150m.com/index.html There's a link to the Remixes section, and also to Remixers (but since we don't have any info on anyone yet, it's kinda blank). Renovations will be going on for a while, and if anyone wants to contribute something artistic (and original) to the website design, please send me it. Enjoy! ~.C.S.~
Kanjika Posted March 20, 2005 Posted March 20, 2005 I just saw this thread only now If you have more mixes that aren't finished, id be willing to contribute 1 or 2 (maybe more if i have time). Orchestral music is no problem for me, and i'll be fine remixing these songs.
Zeality Posted March 20, 2005 Posted March 20, 2005 People Imprisoned by Destiny was great, Kanjika. I'd fully support and love your participation.
underburntskies Posted March 20, 2005 Posted March 20, 2005 All that I had to listen to was Sephfire's beautiful "Inciting Incident" to know that this is going to be an amazing project. Best of luck, all of you. You've got my support... if that means anything.
Kanjika Posted March 20, 2005 Posted March 20, 2005 People Imprisoned by Destiny was great, Kanjika. I'd fully support and love your participation. Thanks . You should hear the original i posted last night. Anyway, i only see like 3 songs left over. Aren't there more than that? And if anyone can tell me where to find good midis of these songs that'd be great. VGmusic seems to be pretty bad at times, and most songs are named differently.
Zeality Posted March 20, 2005 Posted March 20, 2005 Well, I have the CT sheet music, but it isn't complete. I'm missing 7-8 songs.
Claado Shou Posted March 20, 2005 Author Posted March 20, 2005 I only have a few minutes to do this, but Kanjika, if you want to join - and I heard your wonderful music - you are more than welcome to take any open songs. Check the track listing in the first post to see what's available. Hit me back later with your choice(s) and I'll send you the script portions. And thanks for showing up...some enthusiasm is needed at this point. ~.C.S.~
Kanjika Posted March 20, 2005 Posted March 20, 2005 I think ill do Magus' Redemption and Robot Battle. I can do the remaining one (Lucca's Arrival) if no one else will, also.
sephfire Posted March 21, 2005 Posted March 21, 2005 Wow, a lot of cool stuff can happen when you go away for a weekend ... me like.
Ab56 v2 aka Ash Posted March 21, 2005 Posted March 21, 2005 Let me start by saying that I'm no music buff. I was pretty impressed by blizihizake's End of Time arrangement (because the song is so underappreciated), but Reuben Kee's To Far Away Times blew me away. Don't get me wrong though, they're all good. I'm just in love with the piano.
Claado Shou Posted March 21, 2005 Author Posted March 21, 2005 AAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS OOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. I go away for a couple of hours to study, and now we have a bunch of great updates to make. Neato! Let me send you the script portions, Kanjika. I'm sure you'll do well with both of them. And thank you, herograw, for putting the files in a not-so-hard-to-reach place. I appreciate it. ~.C.S.~
Global-Trance Posted March 21, 2005 Posted March 21, 2005 Hey Claado, got your PM. Talk to me on AIM. I think I can help you out.
Kanjika Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 Sorry for bumping and posting, but i havent seen any good banner or cover art. No offense but the other stuff was lame This took me like 5 minutes using just a picture of a pocketwatch on a table...im also doing a few others but i just though you might want to see this... EDIT:: Finished a second, better one.
Methiea Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 Does it seem like PLBenjaminZ's "Final Battle With Lavos" just cut off and not end? It gets this wicked low strings groove going and just... stops, mid beat. or it just me?
Claado Shou Posted March 23, 2005 Author Posted March 23, 2005 Dude, hardcore awesome. That is looking very much like CD cover art (with a few tweaks/additions, of course, but damn...). I already "employed" Global-Trance to work on website design stuff, so this is very nice. Very nice indeed. As for Methiea's question, the song isn't finished yet. But it will be soon, hopefully.
Helmholz Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 Yeah, it's got the GIA logo in it though. :/ Easily remedied.
Kanjika Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 Yeah, it's got the GIA logo in it though. :/Easily remedied. OOPS...thats easy to fix. And i just noticed theres no music type stuff in the first pic...ill add it later.
Global-Trance Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 Looking at everything that's been made so far, I guess I really should start doing some design work.
neminem Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 Wow. This is awesome. Russell Cox is on it? *drool* EDIT: Way to get a webhost that has really insanely obtrusive popups, and also has a banner ad for spyware (Gator). I'm sure you could find a better one.
