Hemophiliac
Blink+ Orchid Naix best Naix. Also known as the "Screw Antimage" build. They fixed headless Kunkka unfortunately. .I hope they turn it into an alt skin for him. basher + AC works just as well.
Tensei
Basher is kind a noobtrap item, similarly to SnY or Shadow Blade. Blink+Infest lets you pull off some bullshit escapes and fixes Naix' main issue, which is getting kited. He also mainly scales with attack speed so the stats on Basher don't do a lot for him because he already has a lot of innate damage per attack. A combination of attack speed and a good orb like desolator is probably the best on him. Edited December 3, 2011 by Tensei
Tensei
Yeah I know, 4chan meme and all, but this is pretty clever. The bottom 3 panels are the actual skill icons for Shadow Raze.
The Derrit
lifestealer is too good. beats out a 'huskar ultrathingy' two levels down with just a bracelet and powertreads. un-one on one-able there have now been multiple games where i've won 3v1 battles that seems unfair
Hemophiliac
if anyone has an extra invite, let me know...i have a friend who wants to play.
Tensei
Lifestealer either just needs to get outcarried (Antimage/Faceless Void would probably do the trick) or shut down early, whether that be through ganks or pushing. He destroys high HP heroes though.
Nase
does that only sound like pred?
Tensei
Lifestealer is basically Predator with his skills changed up and a different (cooler) ultimate.
eternal Zero
This game loves me. And I love it. I've done nothing but random for the past 10 games and I've had all carries, and have dominated in every game. Hemo can vouch. So gooood. Tensei
Meanwhile I have like an 0-5 win ratio with Weaver, but I'm determined to keep playing him until I get the hang of it and start winning. E: There's indication that todays patch MIGHT hold Invoker, which would be amazing. Then again, it could just as well be Mortred, Spirit Breaker, Bane or Krobelus. The Derrit
it doesn't love me. i pick tinker last night and the next three consecutive picks are antimage dragonknight and another hard carry that i can't remember right now oh yeah and a lich who didn't know how to ult that was cool too
eternal Zero
Ah and there's the love-hate relationship. Still continued to win mid and go at least 3 KDR and do really well but lost all my games tonight. Ugh feeders in this game make me so much sadder than in LoL. Tensei
Wow, Krobelus looks amazing. The quality of the models in this game keeps surprising me. She even has a French accent. Edited December 9, 2011 by Tensei

The Derrit
Wow, Krobelus looks amazing. Tensei
Yeah I guess they processed the voice a lot to make her sound more like a ghost, I didn't notice it ingame but it's pretty obvious in the sound files. Still worth it just to hear her say "Eenveezeebeeleetee".
Dhsu
I have a soft spot for blind/faceless heroes, so Defiler still wins in terms of concept IMO. Krobelus, like everything else in Dota 2, definitely takes the prize in execution though. Although why is she firing bats with Locust Swarm...? The Derrit
i want pit lord and rigwarl
Tensei
Rigwarl is the biggest troll hero (aside from maybe Techies). I really want Invoker though.
The Derrit
Rigwarl is the biggest troll hero (aside from maybe Techies).I really want Invoker though. i've never used invoker and even after reading about him have no idea how that works
Dhsu
i've never used invoker and even after reading about him have no idea how that works Activating Q, W, and E (the "reagents") will each give you a different orby thing (or "instance") floating around you along with a passive effect. You can activate up to 3 instances at a time in any combination, so for example QQQ, QQW, QWE, etc. His ult invokes the spell and gives you another ability based on the instances you have activated. Each combination has a different spell. At level 2 Invoke you can "store" a second spell as a 6th ability. TL;RD He has 10 abilities. He can use 2 at a time. That means there are literally a hundred different ways to play Invoker. Edited December 11, 2011 by Dhsu
Tensei
He also can't level his stats, but each of the instances can be leveled up seven times and the passive effects are really strong, so you can have 21 HP regen per second or 63 bonus damage at all times. He really plays unlike anything else in the game.
Dhsu
Yeah, if you count all his passive combinations, that bumps it up to 1000 unique configurations.
Ajax
Yeah, if you count all his passive combinations, that bumps it up to 1000 unique configurations. Which is what makes it so hard to balance him. While I haven't played invoker in years, I do remember having a fun time mauling people with giant flaming meteoroids. I'm also really liking that they haven't implemented a concede function. It seems people are now more willing to stick it out, and don't just give up at 15 min if things are looking bad. I played witch doctor in a 4v5 where we were able to eventually win despite an incredibly farmed sand king and a mediocre pudge who left at lvl 8. Tensei
Yeah, Invoker is very strong in the right hands and one of the few competitive picks that aren't in the game yet. Then again Batrider is super banworthy in WC3 DotA, yet he's not popular in Dota 2 at all!
