NegimaSonic Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 Do want! That is awesome! Bahahaha agreed! I don't see that as super odd though, I mean that happens in Halo doesn't it? Either way its fun to watch :3 Quote
Brandon Strader Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 This game. Hahahaha!! I bet that isn't even a bug! This game was playtested and that WAS noticed. This is just a really fun quirk of an awesome game. Quote
Dissidia Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 Is there a term for this kind of kiting? First time you get hit by a troll "OH SHI.. WIIEEEEEEEE" Quote

NegimaSonic Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 Is there a term for this kind of kiting? First time you get hit by a troll "OH SHI.. WIIEEEEEEEE" yeah I don't know who this is but I was watching a livestream the other day, seems you can't kill important people anymore.[i only know Morrowind so I dunno if this was an Oblivion thing] Good way to train your magic perhaps? XD Quote
Brandon Strader Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 I killed an important person after he wasn't important anymore! Also I saw a mammoth fall from the sky, hit the ground, and die. Quote
Gollgagh Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 yeah I don't know who this is but I was watching a livestream the other day, seems you can't kill important people anymore.[i only know Morrowind so I dunno if this was an Oblivion thing]Good way to train your magic perhaps? XD yeah, in the Oblivion version of Gamebryo they added an unkillable flag to characters to keep stuff from breaking also to keep you from killing children which is less-than-kosher content in a video game or something Quote

I think people are already working on that if they haven't finished already. I can't say whether that's really good or bad. But having kids does kind of ruin any failed thievery attempts/murders. KM* Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 I think the inability to kill children in the game really breaks the suspension of disbelief. It's like I can obliterate everything into pieces, but this small child can survive a nuke without a scratch. Quote
Gollgagh Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 no see, they did that to keep lawyers off their asses is what I'm saying Quote
Brandon Strader Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 I will never understand why Besthesda disabled killing children. I saw a dead bloody baby in Max Payne as a child, and I'm only a somewhat disturbed adult as a result. Quote
Jamphibious Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 I found a horse with a dead guy next to it on the middle of a path, so I took it. Free horse! But THEN, when I got off my horse he instantly flew straight to my left and through the side of the mountain. Alas, he was a good horse. These bugs are hilarious. Quote
The Coop Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 This game. This really needs Goofy's "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-HO-HO-HO-HOYYYYY!" Quote
Brandon Strader Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 This really needs Goofy's "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-HO-HO-HO-HOYYYYY!" Hah, dat caption. Dat caption. Quote
Gario Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 This really needs Goofy's "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-HO-HO-HO-HOYYYYY!" This may just be the best thing ever, I'm not even lying. Quote

Tensei Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 Sabrecat launch actually, but yeah. There's already some quality mods out by the way! http://skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=12 http://skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=44 Quote

Like Gollgagh said, it's probably for legal reasons, although I'd like to think it's also to be in good taste. Quote
lazygecko Posted November 12, 2011 Author Posted November 12, 2011 Throw in the Portal 2 space sphere voice for good measure Quote
The Derrit Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 so i don't get it this game has a bunch of crazy bugs and this makes the game better somehow? Quote

KM* Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 so i don't get it this game has a bunch of crazy bugs and this makes the game better somehow? Well, it's just like the 3D GTA games. The fact you can throw a car across a city with a swing set, or you can jump out of car before a cut-scene and see the car run over the cut-scene actors during the cut-scene makes the games more awesome. It's fun because it's unusual and unexpected and not frustrating like crashes or the inability to continue in the game like in Just Cause when you get stuck in a car and can't get out until someone comes and kills you.
