Gario Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 Considering the limited source and the anti-style you use for the track, this is really impressive. I've always known that you'd be a great remixer on here. This track shows that I wasn't off on that prediction. Nice work on it. Quote
Damashii!! Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 OOOOOOOooooohhhhh YYYYYEEEAH!!! Another PaRappa remix this guy and TGH are quickly becoming my favorite, most anticipated mixers. keep it up man, you're getting sick nastier with every mix. hahaha, dat write-up. Quote
A-RoN Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 Tron Legacy's Son of Flynn-ish intro FTW! LOL The textures and vocal samples are placed very well. That bassline is also very nicely done! I'm going to keep this review short. This remix definitely shows Kraftwork quirks and Daft Punk stylins. I do loose my focus after a while during the song as there's a bit of a repetition-ish issues, but it's well done and composed. 8/10 Edit: BTW, I <3 the drums! Quote
CC Ricers Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 I'm really starting to like Anti-Syne's remixes as well. There's a raw, under-processed feel to the electronic music he makes but it comes together well. Those pads that slide in really set the groove for me. I did have some difficulty catching on to the source, but the source was simple enough already. Quote
Bahamut Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 Anti-Syne seems to be attracted to a more minimal style I'm seeing with each mix, and this mix is an amusing example of that, complete with voice clips that do sound almost Mortal Kombatesque as djp pointed out. Keep up the good work! Quote
Liontamer Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 So... fuckin'... SMART! Love this arrangement! Quote
Crulex Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Oh yeah, love the gritty robotic vocal clips in this! So much fun listening to this ReMix because of it. The electronica underneath it is smooth and sounds incredible. I can hear what DJP said about the Mortal Kombat kind of idea, but honestly, this is an awesome arrangement of one of the few Parappa songs I can stand, so well done, Anti-Syne! Quote
