Melbu Frahma Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 Gotta say, looks good. Although I'm wondering if the narrator'll show up again. Quote
Modus Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 Hopefully it's more of a game than an art show this time, because I'm hyped for this cyberpunk wave. Quote
relyanCe Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 instantly most anticipated game of 2014 and Logan Cunningham is coming back to narrate. Quote

Esperado Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 the style of this game looks really good. maybe i should look into bastion as well since i havent played that yet Quote
Annie Felis Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 I really like the art style on this one: nice and clean with smooth animation. Not entirely sure how the battle system is going to work, but so far it looks awesome. Quote
Melbu Frahma Posted March 24, 2013 Author Posted March 24, 2013 (edited) ...and it looks decently badass. EDIT: Edited March 25, 2013 by Melbu Frahma Quote
Liontamer Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 So lucky to see this quickly at PAX, but it definitely looks just as great as Bastion. REEEEALLY looks good. Quote
Muuurgh Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 I conducted a short Q&A with Darren Korb about what we can expect regarding the music to Transistor--you all might be interested. Quote
Melbu Frahma Posted March 29, 2013 Author Posted March 29, 2013 That was a good read. I have to admit, I was kind of hoping to see some Yoko Kanno/GitS:SAC in his influences... but if the OST is anywhere near as good as Bastion's was, I'll be happy. Quote

Yeah, I think we're in for some good stuff, especially when you consider that he started just doing his thing for Bastion without anything really specific in mind. It's intriguing that he's more focused on getting a certain sound from the get-go. Quote
Frederic Petitpas Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 Wanna talk about Transistors check this: http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2013/03/130328142400.htm Quote
Global-Trance Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 instantly most anticipated game of 2014and Logan Cunningham is coming back to narrate. He's the voice of the sword. Awesome. Quote
Melbu Frahma Posted May 24, 2014 Author Posted May 24, 2014 Transistor's out. Who's playing? I'm going to grab it in a week or two, once we hit a slow period at work, but I'm curious what everyone who's gotten it thinks. Quote
SystemsReady Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Played it, beat it, playing it again. I really love it. I also really, really love all the programming references. Quote
Neifion Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Played it, beat it, playing it again. I really love it. I also really, really love all the programming references. The function names with the empty parameter lists, the Empty Set, and especially the sword saying "Hello World" brought a smile to my face. Not done with the game yet, but enjoying it so far. Quote

There's a place called Floating Point, Bracket Towers, putting Help() in a passive slot allows you a chance to become a Super User...there's more, but I don't know how far you are Quote
